I’m finally able to mount!! ❤❤❤ I practiced by first holding on to a dumpster and kept putting my other foot on about 30 times to build muscle memory and confidence. Then I took my hand off of the dumpster and tried it without any support and I did it over and over again!!! Took me FOREVER to get the confidence to just get my other foot on! SCARY!!!! Took me a month!! And once I am on I zip around all over for miles! I am 62 years old! I hope what I said helps someone else. Mark

Barry I just made my own KZread channel called, “EUC Senior” It’s me showing people at 62 years old that I can ride an Inmotion V5F. And hopefully it encourages other more older people that riding an EUC is POSSIBLE! Thanks for your help! Mark

Just touching base. I am riding my Inmotion V5F almost every day before I start work and also during break time without any brushes. The wobbling is gone if I RELAX and be more CONFIDENT! Found something interesting regarding movement and turning. I don’t have to think about using my toes or heels to move it AND I don’t have to look left or right to turn! It reads my brain??? It knows what to do? Weird! I am still having the HARDEST TIME trying to get on the wheel when I am starting off no matter what technique I use. (Yours and other videos on KZread) I keep on getting scared to just put my second foot on. Hopefully it comes with time? Not sure if I should think about something when I try to get my second foot on to take my mind off of being scared. Once I am on the wheel using assistance such as a post or a wall I am 90 percent fine! It’s just that with no assistance scares me BIG TIME! Mark

HI Mark, that sounds good and like your making improvements. It's all about the mindset. Just like the wobbling has gone away while being relaxed so will getting on once you can figure out a way to stay relaxed getting on as well. It will take some time but with practice you will overcome the fear and be rolling soon!

I should had wrote” I don’t have to think about using my toes or heels because I just have to think about going forward, stopping and turning” I guess it’s muscle memory?

Barry I finally rode the Inmotion V5F without the training brushes! I rode for about 30 seconds but I finally rode it without any help. I noticed that the thing started wobbling a lot! I thought that you just had to increase the speed by leaning more forward. It did go faster but it still wobbled a lot. Not sure why? I looked straight ahead like you said and I also turned just by looking to the right. (You’re right that’s weird.) Since it was wobbling a lot my brain told me to hop off, so I hopped off (without killing myself) instead of leaning back but I had to act quick! Main thing is, why was it wobbling so much? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I trust in you. Mark

Congrats! Your progressing. The wobbling is normal it’s just your legs not being accustomed to the wheel and getting used to it. The more comfortable and relaxed you are with the wheel it will go away. Just keep at it!

Thanks Barry! I have the euc at my company and every morning before work I TRY to use it. Tomorrow I will attempt to ride again and try to be more relaxed. I know I must keep trying! You only fail if you give up! Mark
