Great video as always. This is all great advise I wish I knew when starting creating my series. I'm starting to consider rebooting "My Neighbour is a Parasaurolophus" now using this advise.

Man, i wish i drew more when i was younger. I wasted years of my life not improving my artistic skills only to now regain my interest in storytelling around last year through games, movies and cartoons. Now look where i am :'( I have the know-how for stories but art is where I'm unable to do anything 😭

Excuses and complains will never get you where you want to be, look at what Pewdiepie accomplished by drawing everyday for 3 months even tho according to him he was never into art.. Your skills are not bad, your mind is weak and you have to push through your mental blockages by drawing everyday, no excuses, don't complain, just grind everyday.

It's never too late to start! Look at Pewdiepie, he has just recently started and now kicks ass in a month. Keep it consistently and learn from masters! Watch youtube videos and draw along! Get into courses if you feel like, get to communities where you have like-minded people! :) Good luck, just go if you wanna make that dream come true!

I believe that the best way to gain more experience is to keep practising, and have fun during the process. It is never too late to begin creating art, and there are more opportunities now than ever before to be able to learn. 😊 I don't believe it is ever too late. Whether a person is old or young, anyone can begin learning how to draw. Try not to limit yourself by comparing your journey to other people's. Everyone is always learning new things, and we all follow our own path.

Ms.Midnight, I plan to have the manga I'm making be a shonen manga. It's all martial arts and elemental powers. takes place in a world where every human has elemental powers. They unlock them by either accident or trial, and which elemental power it is depends on where they grew up. What do you think a good story/plot idea would be?

I've been working on a manga for 7 years I feel discouraged 😅

I had no idea OEL manga was becoming more increasingly popular. But I feel like thats only due to webtoons and other webcomic formats and they aren't actually in traditional manga style, and I don't know how often they get printed and sold in stores. I could just not be paying attention but it doesn't seem like there are many OEL in barnes & noble

I believe that there are more opportunities for OEL manga to be published at the moment, due to manga competitions being more widely available, and also publishers opening submissions for English speakers (such as VIZ Originals). TokyoPop has also published a variety of OEL manga over the years. 😊 There are still not many OEL manga in bookstores yet, but I believe this has the opportunity to change in the future.

What are some places to upload to?

If you wish to post your manga online, you could try webcomic sites like Taptastic or Webtoons. You could also upload it on your own website. If you wish to self-publish, I would recommend choosing a print on demand option. 😊

May I ask is okay if manga art start with not great art but got better
