spriteS I started playing mc around 2010/2011, but it was just single player for about a year, never took it seriously. I joined a server in 2012, and played some mini-games, but never won any of them, but it was still kinda fun. I decided to take mc a little more serious and get better at pvp around 3-4 years ago, so i watched multiple jitter click videos and how to w tap. The blockhit thing just came natural with me.

honestly bedrock PvP, atleast on PC, it's just java PvP but simpler

Combos 101: 1) Make sure that you're always moving forward; don't stand still 2) Use projectiles to temporarily stop the opponent. (Fishing rod, Eggs, Snowballs, b&a) 3) If you have more speed than the opponent, you're going to get more combos. 4) Reset your spring (W-Tapping, block hitting, Shift-tapping) to deal with more knockback. Do this as soon as your hit registers.

So I learned how to s key/w key and block hit from intel, but I haven’t seen myself improving much. I just needed to comeback to this video to make sure I’m doing everything right. Intel knows what he’s talking about, if you watch his videos for a while you become to be good pretty quickly.

Additional pro tips: -Strafe unpredictably (strafing = moving sideways with a and d keys to move out of the opponent's line of fire), strafing patterns, while easier, usually make you predictable and easy to kill for experienced pvpers. That's why strafing unpredictably, perhaps mixing many techniques leads to better combos. The only note to this is that trying to strafe where the opponent isn't looking can help a lot, so pay attention to their heads. -Practice different sprint resetting methods, since some are better in other situations (like blockhitting is effective in trades, since it also reduces damage); good pvpers can be able to mix different methods to be able to control their situational sprint resetting with impeccable precision. -Practice aim; make every shot count, since even one additional hit can be the deciding factor in an even face-off. It also leads to more easy to start and contain combos. -Don't get too fixated in cps; higher cps does help, but as the game only registers at most 2 hits/second, even a low cps player can have an even fight with an extremely high cps player of similar skill level. Strafing and aim are more important than cps. -Learn to hotkey well. It really helps to have the right item be at your hand in one button press. Rodding, eating, bowing, mlging and pot/soup pvp especially are significantly easier when you don't rely on your scroll wheel. -Use your environment and be aware of your surroundings. It's really helpful to know what's going on around you (you wont get easily critted from the back for example) and using environmental factors like hight differences can win you the edge in a fight. Note that when you use projectiles, it's easier to hit when you have the high ground, but when you melee, conversely, the low ground let's you reach opponents from further. -Use your arsenal smartly. If you have water, a flint and steel or lava, you can slow/hurt/cause damage-over-time to strategically beat the opponent. You can also use blocks to block glutch, build cover or strategically maneuver. -Practice on pvp servers with experienced players and play the modes that require the most skill or improve certain abilities well (like pot is difficult to be good at and sumo almost exclusively practices w-tapping). -Don't try to learn all techniques at once in the beginning, it only makes it too difficult to focus on anything. Practice them one at a time (like first learn strafing and eventually try to add w-tapping into it). When you are competent at them individually, is when combining a lot of them for extreme training is actually a good idea; then you won't just get frustrated for not beign able to do anything. -Look up tutorials, ask tips from better players (it's helpful to ask them how they beat you and what you did wrong) and watch videos of good players and pay attention to their movements and keystrokes (if they have them on the screen). -Use pvp clients, optifine, pvp texture packs or whatever to get the best and smoothest pvp experience you can. -Whatever you do, do your research on it. It's always the smart way of planning your practice! Hope these helped. Just a few of the tips I have picked up.

I don’t have a scroll wheel on my mouse but it does exist on it, just simply putting my hand on it can make it scroll around the hotkey which really sucks especially when fighting another player, also makes it harder to use a bow when stuck in a combo :/

Strafing isn’t technically anything to do with pvp specifically, it’s just a movement, it’s pretty much diagonal movements, forward left/ right and backwards left/ right. It’s not just pvp it’s used in, it can be used whenever

This is one of the most informative videos I've watched about being better in pvp, i've understood this much better than the other videos, I've watched your other tutorial videos also and they just all help alot, it's helped me improve my pvp dramatically. You need more views and subs, you deserve them. ^_^

Knockback is better for pvp but in skyblock you don’t want to be yeeting the enemies away because then you’ll kill them slower.

Wow, that really helped me, not the sprint reset technique but the fact this server got bots you can practice on. Its just awesome for practising :)

EVERYONE THIS IS IMPORTANT if u wanna become good at pvp just do what i say.. 1 : use autosprint/togglesprint 2 : w tap is kinda hard and sometimes if u dont time it ur dead meat lol so i prefer blockhit or shifting 3 : for projectiles u need to be good at using them as intel said u can train with bots at pvpland 4 : if someone pull up a projectile just do the same until u guys get back to ur swords. 5 : and most importantly learn strafing 6 : and u should not pvp on a higher version than 1.8.9 if u want me to teach u join my discord discord.gg/B8pctyQKWC
