Have you ever thought about going on a bikepacking trip? Then this video will give you some inspiration on what bike to choose, what gear to use and how to get going. Of course this is not the only way, this is my way and it works for me. Currently I’m in Portugal biking the Caminho with this setup and its working out great! the basics of brand new bike prep for bike packing is frame wrap ( + fork ), personally i use full suspension bike with topeak bike rags and paniers bags - easily up to 2k km suspension service intervals - clearly that is not a preffered solution for remote areas but for major european destinations works. From my experience plus tires for heavy load ( long trips) is a must have ( i ride on 27.5x2.8 and its comfy
I feel like Bike Packers are Like Migrated Birds.

Hello from Ukraine. Still can not choose between rigid bikes and with front suspension for my touring setup. Does suspension extra weight, complexity and lack of mounting points worth it for the off-road touring bike?

@@Lucridebikes I’m not sure if you can get these bikes to Ukraine but check out RSD bikes. Mainly there RSD sergeant, middlechild, and major. Full on hardtails MTB but you can get them with a rigid or suspension fork
