Practice. Start writing essays. The first few will be bad, but you can learn about why they were bad and then work to improve. If you don't write they will remain bad.

Let's make a whatsapp group of people who are preparing from home (UPSC). What will we do in the group? 1)We will share any important topic or news related to the exam(upsc). 2)Share how much we have studied for the day (to be satisfied by oneself and motivate others) 3)When in doubt, ask the question to group members. Benefit: 1) Will not feel alone in the journey (its a marathon, long time). 2)Get social support from group members. 3)When feel demotivated we can share our feelings & thoughts in the group.

Sir, can we write mains in laymen language Or should we use proper standard english? And also can we use daily life experiences Or not?

Layman language works, but you should use technical terms. You can write life experiences, but most of the time you don't have the space or time to do that. GS questions have as many as 3 parts (in 15 markers).

Biggest mistake of my life ki maine engg. Choose ki now i'm preparing for upsc and i'm in my final year and meko apni engg. Ka "E" bhi nhi tha i wish i could go back to the day i cleared my 12th and mai voh subject leta jo upsc ke optional ma choose krta ..

@@apoorvanema5756 see , meri suggestion yhi rhegi ki maine toh galti ki engg. Pick krke and engg. Itna vast hai ki meko ek din ka bhi time nhi mila tha upsc preperation ke liye after 3 years corona ki vjah se i am able to prepare for upsc and i'm doing pretty good. But can't choose engg. As my optional because bohot vast ha and sallaybus cover nhi hoga. Toh apoorva i suggest ki aap agr meri trah nhi ho 😂 toh engg. Le skte ho varna please just don't pick engg. Baki koi bhi le skto psychology and all jo bhi optional ma kaam ajaye apko and jiska sallaybus bhi cover hojaye jldi .
