Can you make a video about YOUR art? Show us some things you painted, tell us how you do it and how you come up with ideas? You make great videos that help us viewers, but it would be fun to see more about what you are doing and your process =)

I personally would love to but not sure if that is what people would want. But I have been thinking about that for sure.

@@driesketels personally, I would love to see how you create your beautiful work but I also understand and respect the privacy and intimacy of your work. My fear would be for others to copy your work and to saturate the market with your unique signature. So while I’m saddened to not see the process, I understand the reasoning in the decision as well. Thank you for all you do to help others.

man.... I've spent years learning acrylic art painting. And i feel good about using it as well. That being said i realise Oil painting is where the money's at. But i would have to learn how to use it, plus its more expensive that acrylic. And you need good ventilation. So the question for me is: would i rather get really good at acrylic on large canvases and make decent money on sales, or learn oil in hope to get known and make more money per art piece

Great point! You have to find a balance just like with everything in life. It doesn't hurt to focus on acrylic and still make some oil paintings here and there though.

A very informative and concise video...bravo! I'm in the infancy of starting my art career, recently I was just jurried in as a new member in a nearby Fine Arts association. I realized that that the old saying, you're success is determined by your 5 closest friends is very true. I looked at my 5 closest friends and NONE of them are working artist or even creative. Not that I'm going to abandon them but I see this as an opportunity to network, help others and learn a whole lot about running a business. And maybe even sell some of my art.

Feel Luke step 3 is going to be the hardest for most artist. As a lot of artist have a medium that make them happy and stick with it. Hard to stay inspired doing a medium you don't neccesrly Like. As always amazing video.

I don't know I think KZread has a protection mechanism in place... What you can do is clip my videos and put them into shorts and post them on TikTok and take tiktok sponsorship money... I Wouldn't even have a problem with people doing that
