Should you build clientele first before you link a website or should you wait until you build clientele first?

It’s still hard with family because they be hating. I try to do free styles on them for pics but when I need something like glue that’s $35 they can’t even do that.

Exactly I agree never do free That time you spend doing their hair for free a paying customer could have had your time. Ppl don’t desert o put an expectation on your talent and gift for themselves.. it isn’t fair to to you You deserve to be paid for what you do. Sometime family isn’t our customers There are so many ppl many more ppl in this world than the ppl in your family and think of how many will pay you for what you do.. Any one making you feel obligated is wrong .. even if they have helped you in the past . It doesn’t give anyone right to be selfish with your gift dreams talents or you Speaking from experience I had to learn this in another area of my life I hope you feel seen and supported by these comments Good vibes ,good energy and God bless all you do😇

@@TheBlackButterflyQueen I just learned my lesson this week with a family member. I told her she can come every week with no charge but just give me $50 so I can order what I needed and she was suppose to pay after the service but came up with a excuse and had the nerve to text me the next week asking can she come for her next appointment. I didn’t even respond. Now she missed out on a blessing.

I need help :( I'm about to graduate and I've been braiding hair for about 2 years now and plan on going to cosmetology school but not college. should I go to community college and cosmetology school at the same time?

If cosmetology is something you strictly want to do and focus on, then I say, just go to cosmetology school and use your license to your advantage. If you are wanting to go to school for something else, then yes you should go to college as well but then, remember, college will always be there so invest and what will work for you and your business as of right now!

You should get a mannequin doll head!! I’m a 16 year old beginner hairstylist and I’ve been practicing hairstyles on my mannequin doll for 2 years now. I don’t have much family either! But a mannequin doll will definitely help you.

Thanks for the vid, so if your state doesn't require a braiders license can you rent a suite/booth rent without needing anything? I'm looking to move to GA in a few months

Yes. But if it is a place where the owner has certain rules about who can and can’t work there then that’s a different story.
