LMHC is a "Licensed Mental Health Counselor," meaning someone has met the educational, clinical, examination, and other requirements to be fully certified as a mental health counselor. Depends on the laws of the state - most require a phd or a license- master is not expert - it’s why we fight to get to lpc or phd or L something
