How to start a low voltage company $$$ How to start any business. $$$$

Most companies fail within the first 5 years. In fact it's been said that of those that survive the first five years, nine out of ten of those companies will fail before the 10th year. In my experience in dealing with startups and small businesses over the last 30 years, those who do the homework stand a better chance to succeed. I know sometimes you get all enthusiastic and ready to attack the world with your new idea and it's great to hear about the high motivation but motivation does not pay bills. If you want to be successful in a small business then you better do your homework. In this video I'll be talking about how I started a very successful IT business. It was not started on a whim on a Saturday night. I often hear people say oh yeah that guy is an overnight success but it was years in the making. After years of working with new businesses and startups I saw a pattern where I could almost predict whether or not they would be successful. In this video I share some of those ideas and some of my experience that I have learned over the years not only in my business but watching other businesses fail or succeed.

Does video seems to speed up or is it only me? I'd agree about houses being troublesome, often folks doesn't have any installation, maybe coax for cable or sat tv, any other cables are from ISP to CPE.

I miss installing smart homes and theaters.... retrofitting homes isn’t that bad as long as you have basement and attic access.

I worked for AT&T for several years as a install and repair man. I’m really wanting to start a business doing the pre wiring of offices , repair of lines, etc. I don’t think I know enough to offer the it or phone system side of it though

Thank you for your question. I could write a book on how to start an IT company. The way I started my company was with zero dollars. However, start with small installations and if you have enough for a box of cable and 20 jacks that's about all you need to get started. I started with less. I know it sounds crazy but that's what I did. However, if you have some resources, and can afford to buy a box of cable some jacks some tools then you are ahead of the game. If you're interested in running and starting a business check out my other KZread channel it is called "Entrepreneurs WITH Trucks. This channel talks about how to start and run a business.
