I cannot choose for you thambi, just thr folloeing suggestion. Networking + cloud (aws + azure or another) + powershell, bash, linux, db management basics.

You need to do A+ certificate for getting into hardware, after that you can do mcsa, mcse for system admin, ccna for networking, these all good to get into hardware field. But before that, go to naukri and search for how many jobs you have for hardware engineering and what salary they offer. Make sure you happy with that before you choose a career.

If you going to work for someone chekc naukri how much is the salary if you going to do business work for a small hardware business you can see the potential. See any business you can earn millions and you can go bankrupt. I did hardware before I can say anyway i can make a killing in it.

For hardware engineering you need experiance more than certificate. You can do A+ from any decent institute nothing spl, mostly these days any institute they have experienced trainer, only trainer matters. You need to learn following things, Hardware from basic pc assembling to rack setup, cable management, networking, electrical basics. Scripting - powershell, bash, putty. Server setup - windows, linux ( diff flavours), webserver (apache, iis), database. Linux or windows server verification or hands on. Raid setup, nas setup Basic sql and some hands on with mysql, oracle, mssql Do a practisioner exam with aws so you can cost estimate for setting up clous servers and manage it for clients. May will do a video :) all the best.

There are plenty of different things they do, chip design is their core, for getting into RnD division and some core areas would be difficult as they dont have fresher in that. But some techno functional areas you can get. Check they job ads and see what they ask.
