YES, you can start a business while working a full-time day job.
It won't be easy, but it's within reach. I know what it's like, I was in day jobs for the first 10 years of my adult life and struggling to start businesses on the side.
I wanted to make this video to give a little bit of guidance for all of you guys feeling stuck in your day job who want to start a business.
I hope this helps! 🙏

I tried the coffee challenge last week - total failure!! I asked for 10% off at a small, local coffee shop. They asked how old I was, I told them and they said since I was a senior I got 15% off! 😂😂😂 Now what?! Lol

Failure!!!! My son next to you looks like Elon Musk.😂😂😂😂
Overcoming fear is a big thing, really. Even if not realizing it, the subconscious fear of failure stops most people from taking actions. One can definitely start a side hustle while having a regular job! Thanks for sharing a daily doze of inspiration 🌞👍

@@noahkagan can I work with you
I like the phrase, "Some will, some won't, so what, whose next?" This works in sales. I.e. Some will buy, some won't. As long as you keep going asking people if they want what you are selling (whether it's a product or a service) you will get customers. The thing is not to give up and to keep going until you have a good customer base.
"#1. You have to be overcome fear" - YES! So simple, yet so powerful. Nothing is more powerful than beating the Resistance, day in and day out.
Noah, I've learned a lot from you over the years, particularly the Alan Weiss podcast. 3 weeks ago I got my ultimate side gig in VC without having to quit my day job. I love my day job. To the viewers, it can be done. It just takes patience and persistence. It will probably take longer than you want. Just keep putting yourself out there.
I've been deep in ecom for a few years and leaving your videos playing in the background while I work is very therapeutic and relaxing 😅

This is the all the advice I need! Side hustling with a full time job with a kid isn't easy! So I find this encouraging!
Probably the best KZreadr in this business field. Entertaining, practical and real.
As always, great video Noah! The new set with the Taco and lighting is real nice! Thanks for making our entrepreneurial journey fun with your amazing storytelling!
You make it sound so easy… I’m sure you have a lot of experience… but I guess for the starters it is lot of hard work and not simple at all. But this video is a true motivator. I think about starting my own business every day but then I am scared of rejection and you have given some most common things where we get rejected and move forward. This is how we all must take life
I have literally done everything Noah says here except the scaling part which I'm working on. It's all true, I have experienced it and seen it in others. Play the long game. Remember if your building a business and want to rush because you are not happy. You won't feel happy even if your wildest dreams come true, because if you are not feeling fulfillment now, you won't feel fulfillment later. Put yourself in the right mindset to succeed.

Keep your job and slowly spend more time on project. Amazing advice! I did same with high school (before I dropout) and can recommend to slowly grow a project without risking too much :-)
I love the idea of keeping your day job while also working your side hustle...
Good perspective on using scale to protect your time. Gotta make sure your health supports that too

Very happy and bright personality ~~!! congratulations Bro nice engaging video
Good tips!
What stops me the most is definitely fear. The fear isn't really failure as much as it is feeling that I cannot afford to fail because I would let me family down. If I felt like I could fail and still be ok the failure wouldn't have me so scared.
I love this channel
Thank you, Noah!!
Well said. “Go make that shit happen!”

Very cool. I am a single mom with one son. I have been working a 9-5 for more than 20 years…I live in Toronto Canada but originally from Kenya. My salary is slightly over 70K which is not much in Toronto as cost of living is very high. A couple years ago, I started stock trading and mostly swing trading. In the beginning I lost tones of money but quitting is not in my vocabulary. For almost a year now, I am making an average of $300USD a day. So my side hustle pays much more than my day job. I work for the government and the benefits are great. So I plan to continue working for at least another three years God willing, then retire at 52. I am hoping by then, my side hustle will have brought me at least 300K and my son will be on his own feet. I absolutely dislike my job. I work so I can pay the bills but nothing more nothing less. Wish me luck and good luck to everyone who is trying to start a side hustle
Not a single thumb down ! ! ! This shows how good the video is !! I. did not get a day job, started my business before I graduated because my mum stopped giving me money. and I had to pay off 50K borrowed from her.. It was very stressful at the beginning. Thanks to the monthly1K group, things got better later. Definitely not recommend anyone to do the same. Coz the lack of money and stress, forced me to sacrifice the quality of my product. not good for the long run. Now , I am starting another business.. don't know how to do both. this video gave me new inspirations. Thanks !
Thank you Noah for gold nuggets
Great video Noah! Do you have a video on what you use to make your content? I've experimented with different software for editing videos and photos. But would love to see what you and your team use.
love the new taco set up
Legend! 👍
You can really see the investment into this KZread channel with the new setup and editing. Great video!
Good job keep it up
Thank you Noah!!!!
This guy is a legend.
So you are a developer after all! That's nice
Been in business for three years and finally got around the fear. You really need to be aligned with what you're selling or you'll always be scared.
Ok this studio is insane
Hi Noah, great video! I also love your Q&A session videos but it seems that you removed all your Q&A videos from your channel afterwards.
Nice setup :>

Thank you uncle Noah God bless!! you
This video inspires me a lot. I am failed serial entrepreneur, nothing worked for me. I’m still trying. From age 17 to now 36 with 2 kids. Hmmm. I’m gonna give my best shot this year again.
“You don’t have to break up with your husband” Lol he’s awesome 👏🏽
Seems like a no-brainer to keep your day job until you've proven that the new business can work 😊

Especially when you’re already on a pretty good income. The challenge then is to still work on the side hustle when you’re doing 50+ hours per week. I’m finding the only way is 6-7am after exercising…any other good ideas?
Yo you've got some really cool shirts
The taco in the back🌮
An exchange of VALUE. YES. This is the fcking point of the world. Value. Your vidéos are awesome!

Make your dreams come true! Just do it 😂
Noah, but you do understand that you have a massive advantage over people like us, right? You have a big KZread channel, which already in itself gives some finances for business (you can't start a business without having any money). Not only that, you can always advertise your business through social media because you're popular. Many people would see it and of course it would blew up. For people like me or the viewers? If I posted online about my side hustle or a business, the only ones who would even be willing to go (probably) would be my family members.
Quick question on the Coffee Challenge: What's the goal? (Is it getting rejected for me to get over fear or is to get 10% off and feel inspired by the unlikely success?) ..the answer could be both but what should be my primary goal ?
@noahkagan
3 жыл бұрын
goal is to overcome the FEAR of rejection. also feel more capable that you can do things.
I Love you too Bro.
LETS F*#CKING GOOO 🔥🔥🔥
Let's pause for a bit I would watch this guy a lot more than "entrepreneurs" from those youtube ads. Those are horrible. *this* one is nice, doesn't mislead a bit. And then to think about how I accidentally searched this up
Question: So were you the main developer when it came to apps? Or was it the developer you knew? What I’m trying to figure out is should I learn how to code or focus on everything while someone else develops the app based off of my ideas. Thanks Noah & team.

Find someone who can code who would love to also venture into business but doesnt have the biz skill to start it.
I think selling is a good thing, it's an exchange of energy for things we give value to. I think sales is service.
Currently do it and my biggest rec for everyone out there? Become exceptional at time management. After all the wealthy value time and book accordingly...
First one here too x
where we can get that custom made taco neon led?
How do I start a business when I have 12hrs shift job?
Most of the people I know work for companies that would absolutely fire them for having a side business.
