Just a friendly little note for those who are new to rhinestones… it’s mentioned that “AB” indicates that a stone is jelly/resin… that isn’t correct. AB is the coating on the stones that gives them a color changing/shifting effect. You can also purchase glass rhinestones with this same treatment. All are beautiful in their own right. She is correct, there is a difference in cost of glass rhinestones, they are more expensive for a smaller quantity. Wishing all the best in their journey, happy rhinestoning. 😊

Thank you! If you buy glass stones in bulk they usually come in 1440 . For regular rhinestones you'd have to measure then out by weight & separate.

You’ve said you shop for rhinestones on alibaba, what do you usually do with the shipping costs? I tried ordering some but the shipping cost was almost the same amount of money I was spending for the merchandise, its super expensive. Is there a specific vendor that gives cheap shipping?

There's no such thing as cheap shipping from over there. Shipping cost are just as high as products. Rhinestones are heavy when you buy in bulk. You may possibly ask for sea shipping but that takes 20-30 days to get package.

I use a smaller scale & measure by grams. I count out 100 rhinestones weigh them in grams then do the math like multiply that by 10 ect.

This video literally inspired me to start a rhinestone business. But I've been doing research and can't find anything to learn how to scale it by how many I wanna sell in each package. How do you scale it to what you're packaging?

Are you asking how many by the quantity you should sell? You can choose however you'd like to. I've seen them packed by the thousand or hundreds. 1000 or 2000 or 500 or 700 . Is that what you mean?

I've been looking online for two days trying to figure out a quicker packaging process and I'm guessing that's information that people sell because I can't find anything on that.

Yes I weight them by grams on a small scale. 30 grams is approximately 1,500 5mm Rhinestones for example. Count 100 then multiply that by however many amounts you plan to sell them. That made it more simple for me.
