👀 ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Boba tea or bubble tea is a super popular drink - especially for Asians. There is something about it that has a place in all our hearts! And throughout the years I've created several boba businesses as brick & mortar or pop up concepts. One thing about starting a bubble tea business is that the start up cost is quite low. But you do need to keep in mind that this food business requires high volume for you to turn a profit. And once you nail down the drinks, you'll want to add more items to boost up your average ticket price.
So if you want to learn how to start a bubble tea shop/boba tea business, how to start a food business, or you are an aspiring food business owner, keep on watching!

    Funny thing is that the reason why I started this channel is because I wished i had this info when I first started my first food business 5 years ago!! But there wasn't anyone around to guide me or tell me what to do + what to look out for. Made me waste a TON of money and time :( So this is a channel just about all I've learned and my mistakes haha

    My friend who worked as a bubble tea manager asked me for money because he wanted to open his own place I gave him enough money that I would own 80% and he only 20%. He’s doing so good at running the shop that we make 500,000$ in sales per year before expenses , fees and taxes. In the end I get to keep around 180,000$ per year and I never even go in.

    This is golden! I believe that the African and Middle Eastern demographic could jump on the Bubble Tea train, we looove milk tea too. So glad to hear this. I would like to open my own bubble tea, but I don’t know about the system how to open, so do you the team or programs that can help for the new owners?

    Key to making a bubble tea shop 1. Make a lot of friends 2. Get funding to build bubble tea shop 3. Create a warm & welcoming environment/loungy vibes 4. continue making friends. 5. Create a menu & recipe with maybe a few snacks to go with boba 6. Make sure all friends know you are opening a boba tea shop, visit them be friends with them make friends with their friends & invite them all.... 7. On opening invite friends and tell them to bring their friends...simple bro...

    I'm really wanting to start a cat café which will feature boba, a small bakery, and coffee. Thank you for your information, it's helping me a lot as I don't have much. The area I'm in is highly compatible with this idea. Any other advice you could give me would be great!

    Amazing video thank you for sharing! I really want to open a bubble tea shop, but I've been searching for bubble tea beverage preparation courses near me or online and I'm having so much trouble with this. How do business owners with no experience learn? Took a course or just learned with videos and placed them on the menu? I would really like some guidance on this. Im located in miami Fl and so far ive tried volunteering places and reading books but whats the best route?

    Thank you for this video, this helped me a lot on the basic knowledge. The only thing I can't agree with you is McDonald's food doesn't always taste the same in different country. And usually, they taste much better than the McDonald's in Unite States lol

    Very informative! Thank you . Could bubble tea business be a delivery only? Or is it a whole experience to have a store?

  • @WilsonKLee

    @WilsonKLee

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey ansley I think delivery only would be really difficult. There are a lot of factors that can make it difficult like competition, delivery range, margins (third party commission fees are killer), etc. So I would do more research whether delivery only would be viable...Whereas a storefront you have a lot more chances to upsell + build better customer relations.
