This video was helpful when I tried to start a band, but i think you need to make another more detailed video because my band didn't turn out as cool as yours. Halfway into the first show, i realized my wild drummer was actually a live bear who, upon being discovered, ate five of my twelve pedals and my guitarist. Could use a few pointers on how to avoid that situation please.

If your in school go after someone In orchestra who plays the double bass. They can learn the bass guitar very easily

At first i thought they would not be good playing live, but at the end, when they play together they proved they are very talented musicians. Very impressed.

TheIcanntspel but a punk band would require actual talent from the drummer, guitarist and the bassist. Instead of a singer who payed an audio engineer to make their shitty voice sound like a fucking robot. Then getting a fuck ton of special effects to block out real musicians if you can even find any.

As a seasoned musician, what is universally true, is that it is not about something to show, it's something to say. Sometimes less is more. Try turning your dirt (gain) knob down to 2 and create a rythm

Holy fucking shit dude "alright pick a key and go with it" perfectly sums up the band we had started back in highschool.

Me and a friend of mine at middle school are starting a thrash metal band. I'm lead guitar, he's rhythm, and so far, I'm the best at singing. We can't find a bass player or any drummers. Any help on how to start a band in middle school? Also, just watching this video decreased my guitar IQ by 10%.

I'd been wanting to start a band all through school and only in the past year have i been able to actually pull all of the members togethor. I found that bassists and guitarists where pretty easy to come by but we could not find a drummer and the drummers we did know where total asshats. I'd recomend ask around in as many places as possible. Also patience. Things will work out eventually, just be patient

i started bands pretty often. Only one of them worked for a longer period of time. If you don't get along with the other members well (when you finally found some) it can be pretty frustrating or it just doesnt work for you or the others. Unless your friends happen to play instruments and like the same music like you. Then you should hope that everybody has the same comitment for the band. Another problem ( here in germany ) is to get a rehearsal room . No we cant just play in our garages here.
