Wow I never thought of this way, but I do it a different way, I thought I'd share it with you and everyone in the comments. This technique works if you are using female wheels to a tamiya kit, or any kit that has a little pin on the wheels to connect them. First, find the brakes you'll use. Doesn't matter if they're stock or custom, as long as you can make a hole in it, itll work. You then enlarge the hole until the brake can slide over the female nub, then to lower it you just glue the wheels higher up and to camber it, you get that suspension price that you'll connect to the wheel, and file it at an angle so when you glue the wheel, it glues at an angle. This technique works with something like aoshima wheels onto a tamiya kit This is my way of lowering or adding camber to a model car kit, the front is similar except usually with tamiya kits, the piece that glued to the wheels is separate because they need to turn, you basically do the same thing with that piece and file it an angle.

i had a Revell BMW 318i kit it came with a rod that was cut in half and a rubber hose you slid shafts into this made shafts move at different rates at center. It created the desired negative rear camber. I'd imagine the same effect can be done to front suspension. Feel free to implement. Its Revell idea, I'm just sharing

Just one question, when you bend the control arm upwards to the hubs at the front, do you apply any kind of heat at all to it ? I'm a bit worried if it will break on the kits. Thanks for sharing.

Since you cut and sanded the top of the shocks you should have sanded them off and made your own using jewelry wire to really give it a nice look.

Do it like it´s done on the full scale cars. Cut the rear axle from the leaf springs, make a pair of lowering blocks and insert them between the axle and the spring.
