In this video tutorial we will learn our very first stalls on pipes, mini ramps and half pipes. Stalling means standing on the edge or coping of pipes and ramps.
We will learn stalling pipes and ramps by the example of the Frontside Stall and the Backside Stall. These both tricks we will learn step by step.
If you're afraid doing a stall it doesn't matter, togehter we will learn how to overcome our fear.
The Backside Stall, as well as the Frontside Stall are one of the most basic skills at the skatepark.

Bin jetz 32 Jahre alt und habe mir USD Aeon Skates bestellt (wollte damals immer hobbymässig fahren und konnte mir keine leisten 😂) jetzt is es anders - bin auf deine Videos gestoßen - einfach nur der Hammer!!! Deine Lernvideos sind wirklich Klasse. Ich habe ja nach knappen 13 Jahren Pause wieder mit aggressive Skaten angefangen und spüre diverse "ängste" bei damals Harmlosen tricks...

Dan. I cannot get to the top of the coping. The skatepark that I go to have ramps higher than this one you're using here 1:12 . So, I don't know if it's because I'm not going fast enough, because it's too high or because of fear. Any recommendation? I'm using an antirocker setup with 60mm that's why I assume I got not enough speed but I don't know

Hey joker, no no no it's not about your wheel size! It's all about the posture and moreover it's about practicing continuously. So step by step you will develop better posture and more power, while you will need less power to catch the coping or to come onto the top! For example, at my first times on a 4m vert ramp I wasn't be able to reach the top too.

😅 ich trau mich nie rückwärts rein zu droppen selbst wenn ich die rampe schon x mal bis zur coping gefahren und rückwärts zurück binn sobald ich im stall stehe hängts mir aus 😅

Hey das kommt noch. :) Probiere einfach immer wieder vorwärts und rückwärts zu pumpen und gehe immer nur "angedeutet" in den Stall, also immer nur soweit hoch, wie du dich auch wieder zurück traust. Nach und nach wirst du automatisch immer höher fahren bis in einen richtigen Stall und dich dann trauen auch rückwärts wieder runter zu fahren. ;)
