How To Stake Your Monstera Deliciosa

Here's a look into how to stake your Monstera, so she stands up tall and doesn't flop over into your girlfriend's mouth while she's sleeping.
Out of all the houseplants we have, this Monstera Deliciosa is our most mobile. I'm constantly swiveling her around so she can catch just the right amount of sun, and staking her the right way is a huge part of how she's grown so huge!
I use simple wooden dowel rods from my local hardware store, but there are lots of different ways you can do it -- from using a trellis, to bamboo, to moss poles.

I just got one in the last couple days that’s already around 3 ft tall and I couldn’t find anything about how to stake one more than a foot tall without a moss pole or a trellis that it will likely out grow. Hey girls! I just got my first big-ish monstera and I had a couple of questions. I was reading an article about using wooden dowels for staking and they said to only use cedarwood otherwise the dowel may rot in the soil. Have you noticed any issues? Also it is now wintertime and quite dry do you use a humidifier ever for that big beast or does it just acclimate to your household temp? Tia!!!

You are the reason I bought a monstera because I just fell in love with this video and your monstera :) and now to the questions... How tall and wide is the pot? I recently bought a monstera (very excited!!!) and am not sure how big the pot should be.

So....I have one about half the size. She is very finicky about water. I seem to either under or over water her. Any tips? I hate brown spots on leaves!

The Jungle Upstairs Do you cut off some roots or only change soil when you repot? My monstera is getting bigger and bigger, so I need your suggestion to keep it in a small pot like you did :)
