If vendors don't offer white items, you can go to leorics manor, up the stairs to the right. Pass the first room straight to the little outside area... on the right there is a room with 6 weapon racks. Always found that a helpful location

Another tip, play on lower difficulties if you have the ability to steam roll them. T10-12 greatly reduces the chances of legendaries and I found myself, when doing bounties solo, any cursed chests would drop a lot of trash items that I could convert into parts easily enough.

I also avoid picking up yellow items like the plague but with one exception, I like to pick up the right weapon types if I happen to notice them on the ground. It's basically 45 free mats to upgrade one you find instead of crafting it and then upgrading. There's also sometimes a Mysterious Cave vendor who will sometimes have the rares you want to upgrade, and they never run out (though they change stock after some amount of minutes) so one season I bought a few hundred fist weapons and then upgraded them all 😅

I would just say, even though a bit inefficent, gamble for wepons, rings and amulets and upgrade what you can from there. You might get the GG item from just gamble afterall

Bounty mats have always been a bigger issue imo. The tediousness even in speed groups makes me quit every season. How they haven't added a 'bounty mat goblin" is crazy.

There is a weapon room in leorics castle at the very bottom right of the map that always drops 6-7 white items. I always make a point to side trip here if I get a bounty on that area. Usually you have to kill like 50 mob types anyways and the room before it has between 20 or 30 skeletons that contribute to the bounty objective. Just stay to the right always after you go up the right staircase.

I pick up every item that drops in the game. Regardless of rarity. It’s part of the game to me.

This is a good strat. My question is, why haven’t they just upped the amount of white items you get for finishing a gr or regular rift. You should get about 10 reusable parts when you pick them up off the ground

Yo! Echoing Nightmares give insane amounts of crafting mats too! My go to strat this season has been to get three en keys, find a rotation group, do 12 runs in total (4X3 keys) profit :)

My case would be the opposite, where I always have more yellows and blues thanks in part to blasting GRs and gambling shards, since Kadala will always give u 90 to 95% yellows and blues anyways. Then I just buy white items to convert in cube to balance out my mats If only the allow us to convert DBs as well to other mats, as I always end up with so much of them by mid-season lolz

How about puzzle ring? How many mats do you get on average? ancient and non-ancient vaults. Is it worth gambling on lvl 31 character for rings just to get mats from t16 vaults?

I think the fastest way is. Templar quest and the battlefields. You need to be in act5 campaign though. Not worth doing but if you find someone who can invite you for the final quest it's good.

Personally, I like to go to battlefields of eternity and go backwards through the portal. Lots of armor racks in that little transit level.

I only play solo. I was 13 when Diablo came out and I still pick up everything so I'm slow AF.

Thanks for the video. I now get how to convert the white and blue's into yellows. You still need yellows to do the convert in the cube with a ratio of 1 to 100. Thankfully for me I've been picking up almost everything since I started D3 anyway.

You get the yellows from kadala. Hence, unless you are upgrading a rare, don’t pick up the yellow

@@kroozctrl6284 The only problem with getting them from Kadala is that it costs me bloods shards which is a waste of a valued resource when they drop for free and she also gives blues and legendarys when I could get a dozen or more on any regular rift or bounty.

@@tombrannockjr6021 thing is, though, the blood shards aren't a valuable resource. They drop in spades when running GRs, Nephs and bounties. At T16, doing bounties, each cache drops 135 shards, and running speeds should net you 5 caches in less than 10min. After clearing GR150, your max count of shards would be 2000, and that'll get filled up after just a few GR100s

@@tombrannockjr6021 running GR90 gives you 397 shard. The META builds can clear GR90 in 1.5 mins consistently. The non meta, 2-3 mins. Most casuals cap at GR120 so that’s a 1700 shard stack. You can fill up you inventory in 600 shards. Zero point in picking up yellows unless you choose to waste time. You can spam click kadala faster than picking up a bunch of yellows. Also, if you are in need of yellows, the smartest thing to do is spam belts as it cost 25 shards and only takes up 1 square.

I'm playing ssf, doing bounties solo is such a drag. Even with a GoD speed build. Wish there was a separate ladder for ssf players, where you only have to do like 3 bounties per act. That would make it a bit more bearable.

@@MrBoomblaster the core of D3 is afterall multiplayer. Its what the game is designed around. I always play ssf, have done for years. However I do it with a "twist" when bored I just do some group speeds. It dosnt add up to much, out of my 1750-2500 paragon I normally end up with, maybe 100 paragon is from group play. So barely anything. And to myself I dont "unlock" group play for fun untill I hit 1250 paragon or GR120 done in less than 10 mins. Untill then, I can NOT play with other people. Not even inviting to my bounty runs for others to collect caches with me. And I do allow myself only maximum 30 mins in group per day. So I need to chose by activity. And the reason behind it is that I need to gear up, I need to make the progression and everything of that sort solo. The group is just for some interactions and some variation. Not to grind with.

@@rickardsvensson7097 oh yeah, I know. But it wouldn't hurt to have the option for a separate ssf ladder. There are already lots of people playing solo in games like diablo. I'm paragon 18xx now by doing ssf, put plenty of time into this season but you can't compete against people who do group play and have been blasting gr's/EN/bounties. With the follower changes I thought maybe ssf ladder would be added by now.

Just a thought, use puzzle ring farming via a level 31 Alt DH or WD (any other classes viable?) gambling at Kadala for rings. Doing the Vault should pick up _a lot_ of materials, if you pick up everything you'll have to make a stop at the blacksmith on the way before tackling Greed. If you massacre a Blue gobo you might have to make more than one portal back and forth to smash everything. Would this work?

Yes. I'm we're being honest - probably 75% or more of these content creator's videos are completely worthless to players that aren't wasting their materials making stupid items. Wudijo, for example, is gonna run out of materials because he's going to spend 4hrs crafting a primal perfect Maximus because some creepy fuck donated $200 to see their username on his twitch stream. If you're not playing 17hrs straight on d3, you probably won't ever need these tips.

Wudi’s idea is every click you make in the game invests time. Clicking on a white item yields 7-10 materials. Clicking on a yellow item yields 1. So. You can spend seven times as ping collecting materials, or get a massive amount of white and change them to blue or yellow as required. So. 1 hour collecting or 7. Your call.

To reply to the actual question: it would work, but it wouldn't be effective in terms of time. Using a lvl31 WD to gamble for vault keys is time well spent, imo, considering the ammounts of items and materials that drop in there, aswell as the chance for Ancient Puzzle, which gives even more of everything. Personally, I use this method to empty out the shard wallet when Kadala seems to be holding back on the Leggos I actually want on my main. Relogging 7 times in 2 minutes isn't what I consider fun, though getting an Ancient Puzzle is always a good time 😅

In a stream you said bountys are time waste, cause paragon levels over everything and you hope you get items with better rolls by drop luck. So whats the case ?

well they still are a time waste if you care about getting to the top of the leaderboard but not everyone does (personally I also like to farm bounties as long as I'm not playing SSF)

Bounties are a time waste, unless one gets a Leggo that could do with a reforge. Really the only reason to spend time doing bounties at all, imo.

I play on console, I pick up everything and salvage, never run out of mats.

Really wish Blizzard would add a conversion recipe from DB to any of the 3 main mats. Since they introduced the emanate mechanic with the follower set that gives double DB (I keep that on 99% of the time unless I needed 10min shrines or sth), I've been ending every season with more DBs than the other 3 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ But yes white mats are always the bottleneck. Often having to go into the acts to get extra on top of running normal rifts.

@@boogienightsmarkwahlberg6011 Yea where the game is now, a lot of these QoL updates would've been really welcome. Any form of autopickup has been one of the most wished features for years now. I doubt it will be implemented though~

i just spam any map with armor stands and convert the whites to yellows it safes so much time. also tfw we are in season 26 and ppl still dont know you can just convert.

In S28 you can just buy white items from the vendor and let your pet salvage it.

This method work for me on switch console. Really save a lot of time and effort just to get all those mat Make a level 1 char and keep buy the white item and do the conversion to blue and yellow afterwards

Also another tip especially for bounties. You already made a video on though. Bounty runs with full party, should only take 5-7 mins. What speeds it up: (1) curse chest 100 kills (activate and to town, save tp and just use the world map), (2) don’t collect the replenished chest unless you have to for completion (3) 1 player per boss fight (4) skip or save all vault/rainbow/bandit shrines You follow that, you 15 min group run, can become 7 mins if you have the speed and dps

D3 is where common items are more rare than rares

just a tip for anyone who needs just a few more db’s if theyre missing any, you can go to caldeum and the cave portal thing behind the blacksmith has 2 rares where you can easily get some dbs.

Vendors also can sell whites. A level 1 buyer could have a much better shot at whites. Belts preferred since they only take one inventory space.

i always pick up yellows and ignore whites ill have to fix that bad habit (from D2 where some yellows were godly)

one reason to pick up yellow (weapons in particular) is to upgrade rare them in the cube but you won't need that many of them usually, everything else is just cluttering your inventory

How can you farm gems the easiest way? The Vault seems like to be a good place but is there a better way?

make sure you have a broken crown on the follower, ENs also give lots of gems if you manage to get the bandit shrines

Broken crown and Nemesis on follower, run Neph or bounties. Elites and Champs drop gems about 100% of the time, so go hunting for them, from there, use the essences at Squirt to reroll, eg. Diamonds to Rubies

You left out Death's Breath's and Forgotten Soulds for some reason like that is not needed? For DBs, Craft the sage set 3 piece, put it on your follower, then get Nemesis Bracers and farm normal Nef Rifts at the highest torment you can do solo comfortably. For Forgotten Souls, their are a few options, but this season the best way for me is 1. Petr Scream farms, get 2/3/4/5 tokens then join a group that also have that number, you rotate burning tokens, so if you contribute 5, you get 20 runs (in theory). then 2. Convert yellow item in cube to legendary and salvage (assume you have DB's on a good farm.) and 3. Speed run GR's. - Unfortunately there is no shortcut to get them. The last option for me is, don't let the game haste chase you, just play the game at your own pace, against a checklist of the season achevements you need. Mats will fill up in no time if you just play and ignore the preassure of getting shit done RIGHT NOW.

most people never get close to enough normal mats to use DBs even without sage (I literally haven't even put it on my follower for 2-3 seasons now) and souls simply stack up over time - nothing you can do to target farm them besides just rushing as fast as possible

@@Rustie_za this is not new idea. Long time ago some players already asked if it's possible to have a salvage button in the stash, so you don't need to go back to town to salvage. In this case, you can pick up whatever you see out of town.

How to roll GG Crimson: get mats, and start crafting 😂

On console you can join bounty games or open a bounty game - kill every boss bounty; that stops you from having to accept/decline an instance for the bosses. At that point just do whatever you want, including AFK. Other people will finish the bounties for you. It's a full bounty clear for maybe 5minutes of your time.

I disagree a little. Always pickup the yellow item type that you want to upgrade in cube! that can save you up to 15blue15yellow 15 white compared to crafting it.

If a person ever needs veiled crystals too you can craft rare rings and amulets (if you don’t want to play other classes). They only cost gems and honestly it’s faster to crafter rings and convert it back to something else when you likely won’t ever use the gems you find past day 4

Common sense will always be my downfall. Knowing yellows only provide 1 crystal, for some reason I always gravitate to picking them up.

The drop rate of these different materials is too different. I’m seeing people farming up 99,000 crystals etc., but reusable parts only 10 or 15,000. These materials require the same amount each, and drop far less frequently, which means reusable parts is a huge hindrance to progression. I cannot farm enough of them and it’s very slow…

I feel like this is pointed at me after a comment I left...

Easy way to farm white items is to go to Battlefield of Eternity in Act 5. Lower the difficulty if you want and click on all of the armaments. One run should net you from 150-200 mats. Only downside is resetting the game, but it takes 30 seconds to do so.

hopefully the devs see this and do the nerf nerf no point us enjoying our having fun in the game hopefully next season the devs nerf white drops as this season if u could call it a season lol

are you asleep at the wheel? Double bounty cahes was permanently included since a few seasons ago, you dont get "double" you get the 1 only, but double the amount of items/mats/ recipes (if missing any) is in there. They changed it because a lame hand-in would mess up the double reward, so now you perma get the double, without that one guy messing the double up.

@@Rustie_za uhmm, no. Act I - V bounty mats have always been 22 a piece, ever since T16 was introduced. The double cache gave 44 in total. Same goes for every other type of mats

Sages, broken crown and nemesis on follower, (or set up a build using them if you play in groups) you'll never have any issues with DBs.
