In this video I explain how to stack mono astrophotography images using DeepSkyStacker. The process for stacking mono images is different to colour images and I was left with badly aligned images until I started using this process. I hope you find it useful!
Stacking is the term used by astrophotographers when layering multiple images and calibration frames on top of each other to improve the signal to noise ratio of a final image. Having a cleaner image makes post-processing much easier and you will be able to bring out more of the detail in your target.
