Sprouts are the perfect supplemental food for chickens. Wish that I still had chickens because it's tough to eat an entire jar of sprouts!

@@Anne--Marie That's why I like these sprouting trays vs doing the jars. The trays are prefect for doing small batches. Oddly enough my chickens never seem super interested in sprouts that I give them. I'll bring out a tray of scraps that include all sorts of things and they sprouts they treat in the same way people treat a sprig of parsley garnish on a plate. I've heard from people who have chickens that are picky like mine and other people who have chickens that love sprouts. So it's a tossup whether chickens will like them or not I guess.

Do you have ideas for using all of the sprouts?

I make daily salad wraps with them. I drain one tray of sprouts and then put those greens onto a wrap bread with diced onions, pickles, tomato, and avocado. I crumble a little cheddar onto it, and add some Italian salad dressing too. Some people put them right on salads as well, but I like the wraps personally.
