School is out for the summer and two (seemingly) siblings want to cross the street from their local library.
I understand I am controlling brakes and an accelerator. Pedestrians only have feet and are a lot slower over long distances. They do not have a crush zone like vehicles on the road. Be on the look out and have pedestrian awareness. Vehicles can speed up and slow down all day without too much effort on the drivers behalf. Give people walking the right of way even if they are not right in their behavior.
