Actually is a character I play. His uncle was a royal spy that he looked up to, and now he is going out adventuring to try and be as cool as his uncle. His backstory changes every time he tells it because in reality, he is a noble with a very healthy life, but that's not "cool" enough for him.

​@@ayato4743I have played three, tiefling haunted one background with a prosthetic horn that was broken off when she was 5, took her sister's place in blame for a crime so she was under someones thumb doing spy work mostly for a pardoner for 5 yrs, so her traveling now as a rogue is all she knows( trained weaver, plans it go back to it eventually and help with the family shop) and her dad encouraging her to explore her freedom ( all but her little brother are human in her family, she and him are tieflings)and the world, rogue #2 , albino bugbear guild artisan raised by a fairy and dwarf who does it for fun and buisness, rogue #3. Verdan who ran away to the circus and picked up rogue skills there and now does it but doesn't really get it's not as okay. Also calls herself a short green half elf. 😂😂

As for which side the liver goes in? The inside. But as long as Evandra was not bleeding, she should have been fine with only that small a piece of her liver removed. The liver is BIG, and can, over time, regenerate lost parts. - Sorry to bring the room down. I am a pre-transplant liver patient.

I was in a Temple of Elemental Evil campaign shortly after the COVID lockdowns ended. I was a halfling rogue who had parents known as the “Butchers of Veluna City.” It wasn’t a murder reference. They actually ran a butcher shop. Anything that the Elven Ranger killed while hunting I carved into steaks and stew meat. Also I unlocked doors and scouted ahead and such.

OK you got me when the rogue put her glass down before promptly knocking it onto the floor 😂😂😂

You can just picture the player and the DM having the time of their lives with this scene at the table.

I've never played a rogue, but now I kinda want to, mostly so I can make them the most wholesome member of the party. Always leaving apology notes with anyone they steal from, no tragic backstory, all smiles and sunshine. I'm adding it to my list, alongside the aro/ace bard and the smart barbarian.

One of mine is a albino bugbrar guild artisan background apothecary raised by a fairy and a dwarf, named Sunshine for what they brought to their lives. 😂. My verdan is named Adonmaiiel, or Mai'hem bc she grew up in a circus after following animals through a portal and getting stuck at 10, she is a acrobat/clown/ whatever they needed. She calls herself a short half elf who is green. 😂. Mai' hem is a stage name and bc the fey and names. Both pretty much didn't steal too much unless prompted bc they didn't feel like it. 😂though mai' hem doesn't realize what she was taught to do ( pickpocket during shows) was 100% wrong so she is learning. 😅. Also first character with zero dark vision but plus side can't get charmed by strahd so trade off I guess.

Darkfang Shadowclaw...excellent at thievery and stealth, but with a weakness for full-cream milk and skritches behind the ears! I have made a rogue that started out as a nice person who didn't want to hurt anyone. She became more jaded and gruff with each life she ended. She was only a rogue because her dad was a cut purse who told her fancy tales and taught her the ways of the knife. Her mom was a bar maid who was also a bard that absorbed the tales of adventurers that passed through her tavern. All in ally rogue had a happy childhood shielded from the real world and living in fairy tales.

Yay, Rogue is back! How I missed her ❤

The comedic delivery is great.

That's one hell of a sneak attack! Don't even notice the damage until it's pointed out to you.

It's no joke - domestic cats kill 1.3 to 4 _billion_ birds per year. That's just in the USA. 68% of those kills are done by ferals or strays, but that still leaves a significant amount of aviacide that can be prevented by making your kitty an indoor-only dweller. Bonus for you: No more chance of your beloved Fluffy becoming a victim of a car or a larger predator.
