It costs a lot of money to make a kpop album, I doubt people would spend all that money and time to make one...

Do you have any sources/proof? In the case of Komca stickers, they get reprinted all the time. The music note just means it's first press

@@sean_k0508 Actually, the music note doesn't really mean it's first press. I own a couple of late pressed albums and they all show the music icon. The music note is simply used as an indicator to detect if the album is fake or not. It is not used to indicate if an album is first press. I have a taste of love album from twice which I ordered around the start of 2023 yet it shows the music note even if i ordered it almost 2 years after its release.

As for making a fake kpop album, it is very easy to use cheap materials as most albums are just boxes/books which means they are mostly made out of cardboard/paper which are VERY cheap.

@@markelake because 1st press albums are still in stock if its a popular enough group. If it doesn't have a sticker, it was produced overseas.

@@KookiesxCream It’s not about materials, it’s the labor. Do you really think a scammer would sit there for hours cutting out all the pages just to make a 15$ profit? The only way to make a big enough profit is if they had huge factory equipment, and at that point, they’d make more money just contracting with a real company to print legit albums. You should be more wary of fake photocards, which are waaay easier to duplicate. Even then, scammers don’t care to make fake photocards, because it’s so much easier to just print and make listings for lomos.

Well if the album is fake so is the inclusions..meaning that you spend your money on fake merch that could be bought for like a dollar...

I think you can also check on the codes on the side of your album or the back (mine's all on the side of the album), like int for interpark and smth like that idk

albums sold in amazon are mostly produced overseas, which one was it? i've got superm and nct 127 albums at a mixup and they didn't have the sticker bc they were produced in america, i also have a japanese shinee album and it doesn't have the sticker, the komca sticker only proves the album was produced in korea

in store albums usually dont- all my albums except one are from target and theres no way those are fake but they have no stickers
