Great video!!! I am a Native New Yorker (Brooklynite) and I would totally follow this guide with friends visiting NYC. I have an additional site idea as well - it may or may not fit this timeframe. Once in the Finical District, The South Street Seaport. However, guests who do walk the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn -> Manhattan will get a bird's eye view of Pier 17 and the seaport district. That may be a swap out for 9/11. Also in the Financial District is "The Fearless Girl" sculpture. She was originally placed in front of The Charging Bull, but she is now behind New York Stock Exchange on Broad Street between Wall and Exchange Place.

Great one day free tour. I would like to add one additional site. While walking the High Line, you can exit on 14th street, head west towards the water and enjoy "Little Island" park and the adjacent Pier 57 roof top park and the market downstairs. Also, on 15th street is Chelsea Market and the Meat Packet district. This will had some hours to an already packed day.

This itinerary is absolutely amazing. Can’t believe how many iconic places to visit that are on this. Well done for making this video. I will be doing this when I come to NYC in November ❤ x

Great ideas for a completely filled day in the city. I grew up there and have never walked the Brooklyn Bridge, but maybe this visit I will. Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions, especially the subway guides. When I was young it was the IRT on the upper west side.

I'm planning on going this week..train from CT to GCS. I want to see China town wall street then the ocean (battery park?). Then subway to times Square then GCS to go home. Is that possible??

How do I get there from the Staten Island ferry?

I'm warey of visiting Brooklyn n it's Bridge n of its history, as I'm a solo traveller ,unsure of it safety

Would you have suggestion of things to do in one day but at a more slower pace or even taking 2 to 3 days? We are going in late September but have 2 kids and although they are teenagers, they are teenagers and views are not something they get excited about. They care more about food.
