i can do the kickoff easily but its risky like in keyboard and mouse cus u have to press like 6 buttons and if i mess it up well 0 to 1

It’s definitely a feel thing. I learned basic speed flips and then just subconsciously adjusted to where my speed flips are decent now.

I'm sitting in bronze playing casual and learning more advanced techniques so I Destory bronze quickly 🤣

I think the thing is you can do it in training because u have unlimited boost and in game you dont so I think that was the problem

@@vivaanmittal1341 basically I'll help, I'm only silver 2 but it's really easy, go into settings-controls-change key binds. Simply go on air roll left or air roll right, and bind a button, mine are L1 or LB and L3 or the left joystick whatever it is called on Xbox, however choose your own, basically, press the air roll button whilst on the ground and double press X or Y and boom, that's how to pull a perfect diagonal flip

*KEYBOARD AND MOUSE:* I use shift for universal air roll *and* powerslide. Diagonal flip, and slide your middle finger down from W to S to cancel, while holding whichever side direction you flipped to(left or right). Immediately after, start holding shift as well as backwards(S) and side. Being bound to air roll, shift and side will give that extra bit of rotation, and once you land, it'll provide a smooth landing. Hold these last inputs until your car is FULLY on the ground, or you'll spin out. Inputs for speed flip left: jump -> W+A+jump -> S+A+Shift. Musty's training pack is good for intermediate training, as it really requires you to be efficient with your timing, building up specific muscle memory.

Broooo that tip of delaying the second dodge after touching the ball first is GOLD. I speedflip kickoff very consistently at this point so i often get to the ball first, yet i lose the kickoff more often than i think i should

Exactly what I needed to know!

I think I just found out why the musty speedflip training pack is so hard: the dodge timing. If you jump and dodge as soon as possible, you won’t gain too much altitude, making you dodge earlier and land earlier

About the training packs: the one you’ve shared is great for learning, but none of those shots are as difficult as mustys. I’ve just started to hit the ball in mustys, and I heard about it and started learning it when the mechanic came out, so it’s no joke. If you can’t get diagonal kickoff times down to 1.92s seconds, then you aren’t doing the flip fast enough to hit mustys training pack, and The time could go down to 1.91s or even 1.90s

I'd recommend 1v1 vs. bot to practice kickoffs as well. Works on any platform and you get the actual kickoff countdown and positions.

SpookLuke could you please make a video showing us how to master both Tornado and Inverse Tornado spin ? As Ive heard that its one of the main things to learn to be able to understand air roll and learn air rolling fluently.

bruh you need way more subs you are underrated

I've been struggling to get this down for ages. Just couldn't do it. I was initially using Fennec to practice this but didn't work at all. Finally managed to with this video though and switching to Octane. I notice small adjustments a lot more with Octane so learning mechanics is best for me on that car. One of my biggest knockbacks was me regularly holding air roll during the flip cancel. When I was doing this, I noticed my front end kept pointing upwards after a second instead of staying directed towards the floor. I was doing this with both Air Roll right and normal Air Roll because of my muscle memory from my standard kickoffs. Once I stopped doing that, I started getting it more consistently using another KZreadr's pack, but it was ultimately this video that did it for me. Always my go-to when searching for RL tutorials! Keep up the good work! P.S. I can't find a video on this, so maybe you haven't done one, or even know the mechanic yourself but any chance you can show how to use a twist flip (as I've seen people call it). I can't seem to get that right during my aerials, figured maybe learning the speed flip first would help as I believe it's a similar process with a diagonal flip cancel or am I wrong?
