How to speed bag #3 Reverse Roll

I love doing reverse rolls. They aren’t that hard once you find the sweet spot. And they look cool as hell! Have fun with this one!!

Jeff this method of not hitting the drum is an awesome way to learn! Thank you sir 👍

Thank you Mark!! It is definitely a different approach to the drum. It’s no different than how I teach how to race motorcycles. Slow and smooth, smooth = fast. Can’t wait to see some drumming from you! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or getting frustrated.

Ah, good tip to throw in the bumps between the forward and reverse. I didn't understand that at first and have been going straight from fwd > rev & rev > fwd. My transition on that can be hoppy. Sometimes smooth, but I noticed sometimes that I hit the same fist twice on the switch, which is obviously not correct. So, I'm going to work the bumps in between until it becomes a litle more hardwired in my brain. I think that will help alot. Thanks brother!

Excellent!!! Like I said in the video, you won’t need to do bumping all the time. It just helps ease the mind for silky transitions.

Hi Thrasher. Great class still on 1and 2 but starting to get a feel for it, when will your swivels be available? I currently have a farza D hook want to try a Evo ball hook swivel. Been banging for years front back triple beat this is all new to me , but and challenging

Thank you very much!! Love to hear the videos are helping out. Forza swivel is a solid swivel. Doesn’t turn real well. If you ever get a chance try out the LMF shackle swivel. Super fast and turns pretty good for a non ball and hook. I’m hooping to get the site active after the new year. Us moving has put things on hold. We really hope to get things back up soon. If you sign up on the sight we will email everyone when we go live again.

I'm back reviewing Lesson #3, and still practicing. I came across this video, of a different kind of bag, have you seen this thing before? What are your thoughts? I'm interested in it, what kind of swivel would you call it? Check it out: kzread.info/dash/bejne/omGBzqdpktbbZqQ.html

That’s Titles largest speed bag you can buy off their website and the swivels looks very similar to the ringside swivel. It’s a speed bag set up without the backboard to bounce off of. Ringside Mexican-Style Swivel www.amazon.com/dp/B006CV39JU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_GZ5P6AE6591MFRTDYBBZ
