As an intermediate Spanish speaker myself, I can tell you two things. One, it will come to you little by little. You'll be able to understand more and more as time goes on. Two, Brenda has one of the best speaking voices, pronunciation, and cadence I've found. Her videos are excellent to spend some time listening to actively.

I have to say... THIS CHANNEL IS AMAZING. I'm at GCSE level in spanish and I found this channel a couple of days ago and YOUARE AN AMAZING TEACHER. Also, this is really helpful because I'm learning at the same time as immersing. I can even understand (id say) 90% of what youre saying. Thank you!

@@HolaSpanish I don't know if you know which country I'm from..it's SEYCHELLES. We speak creole, but officially English ,French also are national languages. I would trade my French for Spanish anytime!! Me encanta mucho el espanol!!!

Thank you SO much for these podcasts. They provide the missing bits that other teachers have left out. Why, o why, o why do language teachers think that a knowledge of, and awareness of accent types, is not important? Being taught a language by teachers with a variety of identifiable regional accents is very confusing for beginning, and even for intermediate students. I need to sound like the educated version of my latinoamerican vecinos, not an uneducated person with a strong regional accent, or a person who speaks educated european spanish, even if the lithp is actually very carefully placed. I am still trying to guess which Spanish accent you have. It seems to be a relatively neutral latinoamericano one, but I could be wrong. As for your slightly accented English accent, it sounds like it is influenced primarily by standard British or Australian, but I couldn't decide which one. Please tell me.

Puedes hacer un video sobre maneras para mejorar tu escritura en espanol? Yo hablo espanol todos los dias y leo un poco de un libro cada dia, y porque de esto, puedo hablar y leer en espanol muy bien sin muchos problemas, y mi escuchando es mi bueno tambien, pero nunca tengo maneras para practicar mi escritura, escribiendo es mi punto debil en ingles tambien pero sabes maneras puedo mejorarlo? Nací en el centro de Inglaterra y tengo acento de Midland. ¿Las diferentes áreas de España tienen diferentes acentos? ¿es posible detectar un acento sudamericano?

Si. El acento de España es distinto al de Latinoamérica. Y entre países, en Latinoamérica, el acento también es diferente.

Solo por tu informacion, lo encuentro mas util si tu presenta mas conversiones en espanol. Despues de conversacion, puedes explicar todo las formas de structuras gramaticas en espanol. Solo es mi opinion. Gracias.
