I saw some videos on those, maybe over the next few months/weeks I will work on a wither skeleton farm so I have enough nether stars to mess around with beacons and stuff

The wither can break the obsidian of the end gate way and anything can push him out. And it's not reliable when you're killing hime more then once

I agree. I did this method once and it worked great. But the second time the wither did not end of suffocating at all and I tried to hit him myself… however after half way point he escaped and after the explosion all block beneath him in a 10x10 square broke into the void.. fighting the wither in the end is no fun when he flies 300 blocks in the air

Make a gold farm and then a boatload of gold apples. you can eat them even when full hunger and they give 14 saturation on top of fast healing and absorbtion hearts.

I really hope you saved your world before he escaped.... I'm not sure how to answer this, maybe u got too close or clicked on the wither and the knockback moved him from the suffocation point?

for me he won’t suffocate is that happening for anyone else?
