You connect the microphone to the bass head with a xlr female to 1/4 inch male cable…then you use a regular xlr cable to connect the bass head to the mixer

I recommend using 3way speakers as the top speakers and subwoofer for talking drum… separate mix not daisy chained

You have to cut the problematic frequencies like 5k, 8k, and 10k for example on your EQ for your monitors

I connected my bass head straight to my mixer but for recording purposes my bass player’s amp is also connected straight to the mixer. It kind of sounds like the low end of the talking drum clashes with the bass player. Do you have any suggestions about what I should do?

What I would do is cut some lows on the bass guitar…. bass guitar is naturally bass heavy.. too much bass would spoil a mix.... once you cut some lows in the bass guitar, find the sweet spot where bass, kick, and talking drum can all reside in the mix

Nice content and already subscribed... I would appreciate it if you can do for drum set... there are thousands of drum set mixing on youtube but none of them treats it with respect to African tungba-esque drums still...
