Edit: it worked but after some Time the error came up again but can it be that it has a bad conection or overheating?

I ran in to a different video. You put a hair dryer on the vents for like 20 minutes or so then turn it on again it worked for mine.

Moisture might cause this.... Facing this issue every monsoon in Mumbai lol Humidity reaches 95% and the speaker stops working

Thanks to your video I did the same repair on DAV DZ280 by connecting the 3V source to a TP named like "DET PRT" (probably stands for protection detector). The other TP (as for DZ 270) did not work. Many thanks for this tip.

@@nitinkachare6436 The error has popped up due to issues with the concerned chip. Even if you bypass using a jumper, the error is not displayed but the problem still persists.

After doing the Jumper connection Push Power Protection error has gone, But center and subwoofer is not working now. Kindle guide by commenting atleast.

It is due to some issues with the amplifier IC, the protector error has come. Merely providing a bypass connection won't help. Replace the chip at the sony service station. Mine is under repair. Will cost about 4k..

@@kir4n If you could get it resolved within 3k, it is good. Mine couldnt be repaired. Apart from main IC, some other chips were also gone bad. The unit is a good one for watching movies. For audio, its poor. I have now installed Yamaha 3072, which is far far better than Sony

@@sanojk332 This system is a decade old and recently I started using it in combination with my laptop to listen to loud music and it worked fine but at times I got the Power protector error but when I turned it off and then on, It played normally until someday it started showing that Power protector error permanently. I really like the bass and the overall audio of this system and I am a student so cant really afford a new system. Just hope that the service center fixes the issue. Thanks for the reply
