This medium puzzle looks a lot like the easy puzzle I was just working on. It seems different websites/publishers gauge difficulty levels differently. If this is medium, the New York Times medium puzzle is actually a hard puzzle.

My intermediate tutorial is often recommended to viewers who watch this video, so I had to check this out. I can see why so many people like this video. I enjoyed your explanations on how to solve each cell and your calm demeanor. Great job!

Best vid I've seen for solving medium level puzzles. Granted he uses a pretty easy medium level puzzle as his example, but his technique works for the difficult medium level sudoku puzzles.

As a beginner I solved easy then i progress to medium. Although it is still sad to c me fail some mediums and get 1 or 2 mistakes in easy sometimes i must say sudoku is fun.

This is not a medium puzzle, is an easy one, mediums got 30 and under template numbers, not 34 like your example.

I liked very much your way of explaining sudoku and your methodology together with your calm voice. It has given me additional insight. One negative I can only find easy and medium produced by you. I would have liked you to do ten easy puzzles and ten medium and especially ten hard so that I could work through them with you. Your public want more.

6:24 cant you see!on the right hand middle box there was a 3 in the middle column. And yet you put your 3 in mediums

I would appreciate you pausing after you describe the situation. I just need a moment to see and understand your explanation. Only a very brief moment would be great. If I stop the video, there are graphics(or whatever I should call it), hindering an unobstructed view of the game.

I'm just getting started in learning Sudoku and this is a easy medium puzzle. You have more numbers in the first 5 minutes with just doing basic tmb, lcr technique. I do a medium puzzle and have only 8 numbers after going my first round and other medium puzzles are as easy as easy ones. Do a harder medium like what I have in my store bought crazy for Sudoku book. I like how you do your presentation but I was looking for something above basic moves. When there is no more moves what I call give me's what do you do? Thank-you.

6:24 bottom and right box. a little 3 here a little 3 there??? huh? there is a 3 in the center colmn therefore the 3 is in the first colmn, top row of the box. well, you're only human.

We figured out earlier that the 2 had to go in the bottom left or the bottom middle square. Later we figured out that the bottom middle square could only be a 3 or a 5. Since it had to be a 3 or a 5, we realized we had eliminated the possibility of the 2 going there. This only left one place that the 2 could go. I hope this helps.
