no. the sign of the equation only changes when you divide or multiply with a negative number.

20:57 this is what i don't understand. don't you do pemdas in reverse when solving equations and inequalities? in doing so i got an answer of x < -5/4

At 20:50 I got - 5/11,pls is that correct?

its still correct, it only flips when you do it with negatives

23:02 why cant we just devide 14 by 2 which gives us 7-x instead of multiplying both sides by 2

The arrow pointing up means to the power 13 So 8a^13 is 8a Or in words 8a to the power 13(I can't type it how it's supposed to be on the phone)

Linear inequalities means single degree inequalities. x+2>y is a linear inequality, while (x^2)+2>y is simply an inequality.
