Tysm for this video, I bought a ghost cube (the exact same one that you have) but I couldnt solve it. So I want to thank you for this great video explaining how to solve the ghost cube.

6:32 - 6:45 when you try out the two triangles, the correct one will be a bit closer to the length of the edge (you can measure this by putting your finger on the distance that goes from the end of the edge to the end of the triangle)

The ghost cube is a great challenge. I watched this video, and I didn't actually see any need for CFOP, which is a relief. (I don't have CFOP memorized) This is just a 3×3 shape mod, like some other cubes out there. On that note, I recommend learning how to solve the normal 3×3, then move on to the windmill cube, then progress to the axis cube, and, finally, the ghost cube. All of the cubes I named use the same method, so if you know how to solve one, you can solve all of them. But something to consider on that is that the ghost cube doesnt actually have any color, and that some pieces are very similar in shape. So good luck!

Thanks, James. I have been doing cubes for years but this one stumped me big time when I tried it on my own. Followed along (even through the misplaced triangles--glad you included that when the last layer won't work) up until the orienting of the last corners. I don't solve the regular cube that way so just had to look up some new algs for me and got it finished.

I have lots of knowledge on the normal 3x3 as well as mirror blocks, Fisher windmill, etc., but dang the ghost cube is a whole other beast! With the help of your video though I finally got it. Thank you SO much!

i spent three hours on this cube wondering why it didn't solve until i realized that my friend twisted the middle piece on the "yellow" layer.

I bought my ghost cube over a year ago and I never thought I'd actually solve the damn thing but your video actually helped me and almost two years later its finally solved. Thank you for the video it was really good and I could actually tell what you were doing

Thanks for the layers tips! I just got a ghost cube yesterday in Minnesota and i first struggled on how to solve it, but when i got home i used my 3x3x3 rubix for help on how to solve layers and actually got the first layer done!

Very nice tutorial. Solving procedure is easy, however for me is difficult to to avoid unwanted turnings during solving. How are you deal with it? I tried to tighten up my cube (the same as in the video), but I barely managed to move a little screws and the cube seems to me quite loose. Do sombedy use more tight cube?

So helpful that you told which directions the pieces should be in and which piece should be where + how to do the first cross. Other tutorials just want you to try all the pieces til they fit and that takes some serios time and concentration. Very good tutorial!👍🏻

Great Tutorial overall, this may not be the tutorial that taught me how to solve it, but going through it, it covers almost all beginner techniques needed to solve one with a little patience and persistence :) Edit: just had to ask you if you think it would be harder to solve it without sticker just because i think it made solving easier especially with the metallic stickers (those that reflect on a certain angle)

What do I do if a center is twisted

I have a question, when you are trying to solve for the “yellow cross” and you end up having the “yellow L” similar to a 3x3 , what algorithm do you apply?

Hey man, I had the same problem. Start with the rightwards incorrect piece as F, and do the algorithm F R U R' U' F', and then you should have a line, which you would do F R U R U' F' again.

For me he’s going so fast, I don’t really understand if my ghost cube will even turn the way he said it sometimes because of the positions of my pieces 😢

I got to the point in the Sune algorithm. I do it and get 2 of the edge pieces in the correct spots but not all 4. Why is that and how could I fix it?

I have a recurring problem with my ghost cube, and it is while solving the yellow cross. It sometimes happens and sometimes doesn’t (it mostly does though). Basically when I use your first algorithm to orient the edge pieces i successfully orient all of them, except there are always two or no pieces flush with the center. When I proceed to use your sune algorithm, I repeatedly use it just for the result of two or no pieces flush with the center, and I can’t successfully make all 4 pieces flush. I don’t know how to prevent or solve this problem and seriously need some input

I can't tell if mine has 2 stickers because it is the galaxy version and stickerless.

for the last layer the two triangles are switched. how do i fix that?

Sune algorithm (after you have the yellow cross pieces pointed in the right direction) : 20:23 Edge algorithm (to shuffle yellow edges) : 23:15 Edge solve (to turn yellow edges when they are in the correct position) : 24:42

I am getting yellow cross where only two edge pieces are flushed with the centre but not the other two...even if i do the said algorithm as it is said ot still remain in two flushed and two unflushed...please help me to reach the yellow cross...

I had this situation in which ALL my center pieces fell out and once inserted back in, I didn't know where they belonged any more and by that I was trying by myself for about 4 years (?!) to solve it without even getting close to solving. Your cube and explanations helped me solve it just now

i think i found a parody or something. At the spot when you say "if you dont have any corners in the right spot, keep doing this algorithm until you get one in the right spot.". Ive been doing that alg for a good 30 min now, on each side, and it will not solve one singular corner. It just keeps going in circles.

Thank you so much!!! My ghost cube is solved. For the 4 pieces you mentioned, the top left triangle is the longer one, and the bottom left trapezoid has just 1 sticker.

Ok well this was a good tutorial to be honest... it really helped me

Every time I’m on the very very last step I always get two corners that need to be swapped but I can’t get them to all be in the right position
