Incredible solving Timberlake! The challenge is always trying to spot the places where the techniques apply! Thanks a lot

You are welcome Jon. Someone else solved this with coloring. Wish I would have thought of that. Finned swordfish isn’t too bad, though.

This one gave me a wild ride toward the end. After several days staring at a logjam and making a few small eliminations, I broke it open with a continuous loop. Then I found two URs and a worrisome number of naked pairs, which made me think it was either going to go BUG or multi-solution on me. Well that didn't happen, but then I twice thought I had crashed it, when all I'd done was make a couple of typos😄

Wow. That was quite the adventure. This was a tough 17-digit puzzle. Quite a creative way to make a breakthrough.

A lovely puzzle. I didn't find any Finned Swordfish, but I used Colours on 2s and 5s from R3C9, which did the job just as well. Going back, I see that the two Finned Swordfish would have yielded exactly the same result.

Nice job doing the coloring, Julian. I wish I had thought of that.

I still struggle finding the swordfishes but that cell at row 2 column 6 was key for cracking the puzzle here for me. Since I discovered the contradiction when I placed either a 5 or 2 in that cell and saw that there would be either two fives or twos in column 6 after working through the chains.

This wasn't too hard. I found finned swordfish in 2s and 5s early, as I was going through the digits, thanks to the title. Both 2s and 5s satisfied what I think was the slot-machine position. I can't quite remember what happened later to collapse the puzzle. 5:00 I found the other finned swordfish in 2s, vertically oriented, Sashimi type. Possibly the other one in 5s as well. 10:10 For me, this happened after I placed the 25 pair in block 2: I had already cornermarked 1s, 3s, and 4s in block 2, and they became a resolved 134 triple. I placed the pair of 4s in block 8 after, but didn't recognize the 245 triple then -- I saw it later. After the triple, I placed 7 and 8 in row 1, both naked singles.
