We've played Spain in college at the end of our final exam. Our improvisations is the most emotional thing that we did and one of the most emotional thing what I heard ever. I wish to remaster it's recording in studio with our current skills.

Often with "my favorite things", the problem is the rhythms instead of the notes. Because its in 3, accents are off compared to the more common 4/4 improv. In terms of notes, pentatonics that fit with each chord work great for me, and it adds color when the pentatonic shifts slightly out of key.

Hey Jeff, I always enjoy your content, glad to see this "how to solo", as I tend to struggle a little bit in these harmonic minor scales bits. The F#7 right after the Gmaj7 sounds a bit weird, but it works fine I guess, but would you use the B harmonic minor or the Gm(maj7)add9 arpeggio over this chord instead? That makes sense, right?
