I saw Marcus in Boston last week with Chick C. He was truly amazing, and I find out his grandfather was Roy Haynes until that night!!!

that was awesome. you can't transcribe marcus, but i really think you figured out some of the essence of his playing here.

I like Markus. He kind of chooses a simple theme and starts noodling! He,s great chops wise and can pull off anything! He works the basic pattern right side then left side, built off the kick but it,s noodling!!!

You might want to check out Gilad Hekselman's "Homes", "This Just In" and "Hearts Wide Open", Chick Corea's "The Continents", "The Vigil" and "Antidote" (+live Jazz Night in America show on youtube), Mark Turner's "'Lathe of Heaven", Chris Potter's "The Dreamer is the Dream", Walter Smith II's "Live in Paris" and Will Vinson's "Live at Smalls", Marquis Hill's "Love Tape", Most of Vijay Iyer's Trio Records...

I love your videos and your talent but the real ones just have it please know and believe you are that one teach the leader how to follow be just you each one teach one not be he but do what you believe yes remember I love you but would love to here you be you your good next level the world loves you express yourself those cats you did- did feel me but great tracing your still a artist I wish even I could be you can't read etçc love it keep doing but let the world hear your your a bad cat don't need to follow no one yes
