Hi, Sorry but i can not understand.

You should not blow to cool down the solder. Blowing will crack the solder. What is also a good idea is to plug in the coordinating connector to avoid warping of the XT90. If you solder a XT90 Male, plug that into a XT90 female while soldering.

Get two helping hands from Harbor Freight. $5.00 each. Remove the magnifying glass. Put one of the arms on the other helping hand. Now you have three clips instead of two. I am lefty also. It is still a left handed world.

Pavel, my friend, you always make me feel guilty with how neat and clean you keep your equipment. That is my only negative comment about your videos:) I do remember doing some soldering in Industrial Arts class way back in high school. I was OK at it, but barely. If I ever do try a DIY board, this is were I will come for advice! I can guarantee you the worst of us make far more mistakes than the best of us:)

Aluminum is a heat sync. The red aluminum jig is a large heat sync. I never use an aluminum jig for soldering. It takes longer to heat up.

the red aluminum jig is only hold the plastic housing, i don't think it will take the heat away that much.

Good stuff. I've been using a "third hand" to hold the XTs but it's not stable enough when force is applied while trying to solder an XT and always moves around. I ordered a table vise a few days ago to try that approach. It'll be very similar to your jig/vise grip set up. Regarding left vs right, is it just me or does it seem that most sk8ers these days ride goofy?

Hi mate, Regular or Goofy is like being left handed or right handed i think... however you can train yourself to ride both.

I would buy a "helpful thirdhand" for soldering..

Not a bad shout actually .....the one that i had did no keep the 10 gauge cable in place though....XT 90 and larger cable a a different game.

Question is the anti-spark Technology only on the female and male side or only on the female side

Very god question. It is actually a very simple principle - one contact is shorter than another so the anti-spark plug works as a set i.e. male and female part. Do not mix the types mate. And please connect the battery side to the female part.

Bahco is a Swedish company, not Swiss. They made the best value for their tools until 1999 when they were acquired by an American company Snap-un Incorporated. They lowered the quality to American shit tool quality so you should get hold of tools that are made before 1999 then you can have them for a lifetime and let the son inherit them. If you get hold of tools made before 1960, all tools are made in Sweden. After that, they started making some tools in Brazil and a few other places, those tools are a little more clumsy. But now they are no better than shit made in the US like Stanly and other US tools

Hi mate. Thank you for the information, it was interesting to read and learn. I do like bahco tools but they all are post 1999...i will look around to see if there are any original available for sale.

I stopped the video as soon as you started using wire wool on your iron. That's how you destroy your tips. Use a brass sponge and never ever use wire wool again.

Not true...you just clean the thin layer and then tin it again. I do have copper wool oand use it when soldering but do re-tin the tip once in a while.
