Before you comment, I want to make this absolutely clear: SMITE as a game, is totally fine. After the shit I went through with Hirez however, I straight up can't bring myself to play it. All it does is remind me of all the fuckery I went through and I really don't want to support them anymore. From here on out, How To's are gonna be made on other games similar to the format you saw in the first 3 minutes & rage montages and other dumb vids I make will continue as usual. Why do people act like it's some ungodly sin to fire artists. There is such thing as using too much resources on your art team and having more artists than you need. However artists are easier to find than coders, often a lot cheaper and even more often make the company more money. People don't spend more money when the server's get more consistent they just play more, people spend money when skins get added.

but to my understanding, it is true. artist have nothing to do with it and it's how smite survives. having said that tho they could have fixed some sh!t without firing artists, that's totally their fault. they should hire a team for additional help on fixing up the game and change server provider which both have nothing to do with the artists... haven't played smite in a few months now due to all the sh!t that has been happening but the problems smite is having is management and priority issues, not more skins.

I'm not completely sure what it would be like for a bigger ordeal like this, but trying to get $1000 out of someone for destroying after shit or having to chase after people in general is a hassle for me personally. Lot of people I know are careless who spurned me badly, damaging a section in the middle of a hardwood floor, breaking other shit, scratching paint, ect. Having to go to claims court, having to get work done to fix things, having to take time off work is pain in the ass. Sometimes it feels worth it to just take it, recoup, move on than stress and get frustrated. Tldr; consider the practicality and frustration of going for a lawsuit and how it may fuck up your schedule & stress lvls

Hi-Rez has LOTS of management issues that are kept from the public eye and by now it shouldn't even be a question as to what some of those things are with just a few minutes of research. This is why myself and many other KZreadrs (such as Ed) are 1000% DONE with this game. As to Ed, I hope you find something else you can make videos about to which you are passionate about, as I'm sure most of us would love to see whatever content you'd like to put out because we stay for you and not this garbage company.

here's the kicker: Smite was better before they came out with either of those games, and they specifically dedicated resources from Smite and moved them to other games. This is so disappointing to learn... I struggle to find the words to express how repulsed I am that they would treat you (or anyone else) in that manor. I am grateful that you have brought your story to light for us, and that you were even willing, to any extent, continue through the B.S. to make content for the community that cares for you. I have loved playing Smite for many years now, but this makes me not want to continue playing the game and supporting the company. Most of all, I wish the best for you in your personal and professional life moving forward. I hope we will be able to see your talents in content creation continue and blossom outside of Smite.

delusional,people in this guy chanel already played the game,the vids are still up,he is still promoting the game to new players. A lot of the action by hi rez are questionable,but some,are not,the thing with the icon,can go for both sides,they never asked the permission for using it,but they'v used it before in colabs(that means,either way,he provided to them,direct or inderectly) that icon was on tons of times in smite/content creator channel videos. Now after they put it on a frame ingame,he says they need to compensate the artist for making it?what? put yourself in the company shoes,years of colab with a guy,after you publish a free content into the game for a charity event,he comes up with a problem using his icon,the same icon used 200 years ago,because the icon doesnt belong to him? Danm,i'll be pissed too,you have the same icon since the start of your chanel,and you dont even own it, or have the property issue fixed?and you came up with that right now?its your problem that you are putting into us,fix your attires. the compensation for the vids is not that odd,at the starts of the vid,he says hi rez doesnt have the budget of big publisher like riot or blizard,well,you are going to make a video about a god(that either way,he could have done,he is/was a smite content creator),you are going to get paid for exposure(sketchy,but as a non-employee of the company,is not that bad),you can build relationships with it,not just get paid X amount for a video,rather than building a possible career with the company,the skin is just a sketchy gesture,just give him gems like a nod,not as an important feature of the transaction.You get published in oficial chanels,good for you,good for them,its nice to get paid for your work and time,but you get what you can get. Accounting issues that neither him or they could explain and you get mad about it(and he never lost money,all of it was refunded) and you are mad about it?okay? the thing with the video making,sucks for him,really unprofessional .Payment delays,sucks too. But as any ''drama'' against company vs content creator,we need to remind ourself,that...truth goes both ways,we only saw punk duck side of the things and they took it as an universal truth,the company cant defend himself because it wil be seen as unprofesional(irony),so we only get a side of the view in a youtubers chanel,and as any youtuber they will try to promote themselfs vs the ''mad evil company''. I dont ussualy take part in big company side,but it doesnt seems to bad,really dumb for him to drop the deal with them,no relationships with any company is sugar coated,he needs for real world experience,you take shit from your company everyday if you are a professional,but you build a career. Only a dumb idiot will cut this deal.

They literally could have had such a good relationship here if they treated you with more respect, its thier loss I guess. I completely support your decision but it sucks because a company couldn't be decent enough to treat you fairly we/I have to lose one of our/my favourite smite content creators. Honestly, Punk Duck, you are an extremely entertaining and awesome KZreadr, and deserve far better than this game or company has given you. I started watching you a couple years ago after your collaborations with Pilav, and I've been a big fan since. Your success shouldn't be tethered to a dying company. You have a dedicated viewerbase whom are all eager to soak in more of your content no matter what source it is based on. You could make hentai review videos and everyone would still watch it. The only "Smite humor" is in the patch notes, like when they say that they fixed a bug and turns out they didn't and then you notice 2 gods are missing and clan / referral system doesn't work and somehow the game has even more bugs now.

You're one of my first smite KZreadrs i started to watch and it's sad to see you go in this way, but i completely understand why you're makings this i wish you luck in the next chapter of your yt channel, i hope all the people who watched you for smite support you in the future, thanks for all Punk Duck
