There is some dilemma going around whether there will be NEET-PG or NEXT for 18' batch students, but still, all the points sir talked about in this video will apply, it's better to assume it's NEXT till we get an official notice and prepare, rather than ignore it now and regret later. Own notes are usually better but lack the images which printed notes offer, and are time consuming, if you're okay with making them still, they are the best, but I prefer the printed notes

I think it'd be detrimental to skip standard textbooks. Maybe the next exam is not a good step because people will be skipping the standard textbooks in favor of apps and notes. Those textbooks are valuable in making one a good doctor.
