Slide canceling isn’t really my thing, but I’m glad to see people bringing back movement techniques. I’m nearing 30 and can’t play as fast as I used to but I generally believe that slowing games down is fine, but not if it comes at the cost of straight up removing movement tech. People should have the option to play as fast or slow as they want, and I’m glad to see stuff like this becoming more wiedespread. Big W on this one.

If you hold the the slide button when you jump it will make you dive, so do you need your r3 button set to inverted. Basically you hold to slide and press to dive.

U have to jump and hold slide at the same time, for me it’s hard bc I play claw default binds on a p5 controller

Are there certain controller settings I need? I can get it but very inconsistently and I swear I’m timing it right. Great video, much needed

do you think this will become meta like mw2019 slide cancelling? I been practicing for like 3 hours and its a hard thing to get down but its not something you can do very quickly, still trying to figure out if its even worth using

worth it in certain situations, nowhere near as much as 2019 though

Hardest part is the timing, do you play on any super high fps? Also do you have auto sprint on when you press W?

I use auto tac sprint but you dont need to, just jump the second your feet hit the ground and it will work.

if you add a jump at the end then it will reset tac sprint

So Im used to using stick and move. Jump is my right stick and x is my slide. Do I have to switch up my controller configuration? I can't hold r3 and press x at the same time

make sure you're holding slide the whole time and jump the second your feet touch the ground. I'd recommend practicing in 3rd person mode

@@leik52 A Player Sprints and Times their Dolphin Dive at JUST right time to prone peak a corner. If a player does this right, only their head and a little bit of their body is visual to the enemy; Not a lot to shoot at. However the player Dolphine Dives SEEs everything. They don't have a wall corner in their FoV. They see all of the room, hallway, whatever, from a prone prespective.

Bro did they patch this cus I literally can’t do this on any input been practicing for a week ?

I found the best way to do it on kbm is to bind your mousewheel to jump to ensure you get the timing every time. Also I found that you don’t need to rebind your crouch, it works the same when using your prone key.
