Very helpful! I ran into on small issue with my second-hand Furby, that the red cable connection point was further inside the Furby, so I had to open it a bit more to disconnect it (but I had to do it anyway because the motor has an issue that I'm trying to fix, otherwise I might have skipped that step). Very clear and useful instructions :)

amazing tutorial, thank you! furby booms are my favourite and I have loads of them, but I just got some from some old friends and they're unfortunately not in the best shape. one of them was the exact same furby you used for the demonstration, so that made it way easier to find the right parts! sadly these guys' battery compartments are so badly corroded that I doubt I can get them back up and running without completely replacing it all, so I'll have to see what I can do. but at least I can get them all nice and clean :) somehow they had like,, dead bugs inside. I imagine moths crawled in hoping to eat the fur, but it's acrylic, so completely inedible. letting my little guys marinade in their soup. thanks again!

Do you think that if my furby boom has an ear that's detatching a little bit, will glueing it back to where its meant to be (not affecting movement) solve the problem?

My Furby Boom Crystal doesn't move well and shuts off sometimes I wonder if I can fix it or what should I do?

Most of the Furby Booms have that problem! I had 2 of them with that issue. You need to replace it's motor.

Two of the clips broke as i got super impatient, How do i reattach them if its possible?

Just tried this on one for the first time ever I think I messed up the ears and belly a bit but it only took me an hour :)

was good until it got up to clasps, i didnt find it was very descriptive and i ended up breaking it because i couldnt get it open. tried for over 30 minutes to open it

I bought a burn furby boom for s reskin!

I have two furbys that can turn on but are stuck in one position and their eyes and beak won’t open, are the batteries dying or is it something else? Thanks for the tutorial also I’m going to try restore my childhood furbys

The motor most likely is worn out. With Furby booms and their crystal counterparts, their motors are kinda weak compared to other models. I woul know since mine doesn't move and turns off after a few seconds

In my experience I just ripped the wire out and then set it back in once everything dried, no sewing

I have the smae furby :D

I don't have any pouches on this one specific Boom I have.
