Thanks for this video man! I started using this method months ago and I prefer this 100x more than creating lines and I've only been getting compliments. This method is very underrated.

This is the way the pro barbers in my shop fade and it’s way faster and cleaner than doing guidelines. But they go all around and work down. However, I feel you have to already be a good barber to use this method if you learned the other way first. I would recommend learning this way first.

This is a great tutorial. Did I understand it correctly that you use the n.2, the n.1.5 and the n.0.5 closed only?

Yes, I never open my .5 guard. 2 is the highest guard I ever use. And rarely now do I use my 1.5 guard. I’ll use my open 1 and closed 1 then my .5

Perfect. I have only one question. Can we use this method on a V shape skin fade? I am an old fashioned barber and always start from top to bottom. Thanx guys

For us mid 30s men who have maybe a Norwood 2 or 3. Recession. How would you go about fading that up with covering some of the recession without making it look funny. With a tight fade. That would be a good video.
