Hello Becky. This is the second video from your channel that I've viewed and I'm so impressed. Love your work! You work quickly and have a lively style that doesn't get hampered down by fretting about imperfections (though clearly, you are a skilled illustrator) but embraces the moment. I really like how you treat color, with emphasizing warm tones contrasted with cooler ones. I paid greater attention to that in my cafe sketch yesterday and was very happy with the results.

So happy I found your channel! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Becky! I'm always interested in where you start drawing (or what) in a complicated scene. I'm a little intimidated when I look at a scene with so much in it. You've been very helpful in showing how to find the right thing to start with to ground the rest of the picture. Thank you for that! Also, do people ask to see your paintings when you are in a cafe?

I "cheat" by drawing them from memory of their images flashing through in front of me some seconds ago. 😄

Lovely as always sis sorry ain’t been on in awhile been in hospital had 2 rods put in my back hurts a ton hard to focus but hopefully I’ll be back at it again soon I always try to watch your videos even if You don’t see a comment what do you like to drink at Starbucks? Much love ❤️

I also used Arteza sketchbook for drawing, but one side of the paper is rough while the other side is smooth. Is it similar to yours? I find it hard to draw on different textile!

I found the Arteza paper to be fine, both sides are about the same texture.

The Starbucks doesn’t mind if you bring in a tripod and taking video? You don’t feel self-conscious about that? Impressive!

Thank you! ☺️ My tripod is a tiny one that can be attached to the edge of table/countertop, so it's not in the way. I just take the video with my phone and nobody really notice it 😄 People come by and say good words but they don't stay for long.
