This didn't work for me. What am I doing wrong? My client said her nails were about two sizes too big

What should a nail artist do then if the press-on they send the customer is too big or too small? :/ I've been considering switching from sizing kits to the coin method to avoid paying shipping for the sizing kits and keep costs down, but I'm just afraid I'll have to paint extra nail sets if I'm between two sizes for a nail...

Вы можете попросить клиента сделать дополнительное фото с торца (края) ногтей, как если бы вы смотрели внутрь руки вдоль ногтя. Это может вам увидеть арку ногтя и оценить с-изгиб. Если ногти очень изогнуты, то лучше взять размер побольше, а если плоские, то можно выбрать типсу размер в размер или меньше❤ Простите, что не на английском, я не хотела ошибиться в терминах

I'm sending you a pic of my nails for press-ons..so I'll take a picture with a dime, your going to take that picture blow it up until it's the same size as the dime. So once you get it the same size as the coin it's a life size picture of your nail so just take a full coverage nail over the client nails in the picture to size the nails. If you already figured this out already sorry. And if not hope you get my explanation lol

All press ons, and in a general case, clear tips are all numbered with their sizes

I am so confused... It looked like you dragged animated nails on to her fingers... Was that just for demonstration purposes? Are we supposed to take a real tip, and put it over her nail? Like on our phone screen?? 🥴

So if you’re creating custom press on nails for someone and you want to save time, money and product from sending a nail sizing kit and actually getting the customer to do it, they send you photos with the dime in in the shot for scale, you then size the dime up exactly to the screen and use your clear tips to find the correct fit. I also love to include 2-4 extras just in case and I take into account the curve of the nails as well 😌✨🙌🏽

If you’re the customer, all you have to do is send the picture with the dime. If you’re the artist, you use the scale (dime method) to measure which press on fits best. Press ons are numbered
