    @mi su I come from a place where we love our perfumes and we use loads of them, the stronger the perfume the more compliments you will get, people know I am here from my perfume. Then I moved a country where perfumes are not allowed in public places and all offices, I don't understand why people here are sensitive to perfumes, even when I go shopping I can't find anything strong as we have back there. I miss being able yo use perfumes more freely, but I am so curious to know the science behind people being more sensitive in some parts of the world

  • @Black.Spades

    @Black.Spades

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@shireengool It is more the other way around. Because people use a lot of perfume, they get desensitized for it. So they don't perceive the smell as strong. While people who don't use it often, can get a headache. Too much perfume can be seen sometimes as flamboyant or distracting, so it is not recommended (but not prohibited as far as I know). I know in some countries they might prohibit it because of cultural/religious reasons. A strong smell is then too flashy (for a woman).

    I'm short also so my trick is to keep the front of my foot or toes touching the ground with my ankles crossed and legs slanted. If my knees are tilted to the left my left ankle is behind my right, if I tilt to the right then my right ankle goes behind the left. Only one foot will touch the ground. Another thing I do is to sit a bit more forward in the chair so my feet have a better chance of being flat on the ground. Hope this helps.
