How to Sing Higher for Guys!
Музыка
Master Your Voice Singing Course: ramseyvoice.com/special-offer
Many male singers have a hard time hitting higher notes in their voice.
The biggest reason is because guy singers have to negotiate their first passage much more cleanly than lighter voiced singers.
Singing high notes with more power is directly related to your ability to sing through your first and second bridges.
Today, I'll show you my favorite exercises and strategies for singing high notes for guys.

Being a novice to the art and science of voice it's always a pleasure to have an instructor the caliber of Matt to explain the nuances of singing.

Appreciate you!
First I was only comfortable singing up to A4 But now I can sing up to D5 and even sustain it for a longer time
This actually really helped thanks man I appreciate it
I am so grateful with your video lessons you did about 2 year ago with the really ugly bratty sounds like, Nae, Lip thrills, Nay, Mum doing them a octave higher its like I feel my voicebox open and close. Also learning how to breath using the body and relaxing my way going into the high with confidence. I now sing female songs, in like B, Bb, A, Ab, and G is natural for me. You also gave good tips on things like standing positions, not having to open you mouth so wide, and one thing I really appreciate is like sobbing my way up into those high note. My voice is sooo different from when I first start and whenI learned head voice felt like.
I can hit Bono's high hoooo oooo in Bad by U2 , that is always there in my mind as I skip a warm-up ! I always need to know I can reach there after warming up properly. You are great !

I'm a lamb 👋 as well don't know if I'll ever make the whistle and do it backwards but I'm in high falsetto at least A#5 it comes out prettiest in earth wind and fire songs and purple rain by prince, mariah and this youtube master has showed me a lot!

Whistle register does not make you a countertenor. How high can you sing in chest or mix?
Great. You don’t seem to have any problem either way 😜. I saw MANY videos on vowel mods and narrowing. What I’d like to see is a deeper analysis on what is narrowing and how to achieve this. Like narrowing the throat ?

Narrowing the opening of your mouth to make the vowel smaller
I can hit up to a A5 in mixed voice but I can’t seem to grow and exactly better my falsetto voice/ head voice
Tryna hit "and it feels" in Offsprings Gone away. I keep cracking.

Modify the vowel by dropping the jaw slightly. Almost as if you're saying a word between "feels" and "fells".
my highest note i can sing is f5 but my voice crack in g5. i always have problem in my mid belts g4-a4
im a bass so i wanna learn if its possible
I can sing upto C5 especially in belting/mix head I think but I can't make it consistent, I break/flip to falsetto unintentionally. How can I solve this?(I sometimes strain, with some tension too but I'm trying to fix this currently). I may be using the wrong terms🤧 sorry I've just started trying to improving my singing. I have a pretty nice gist about resonance though, I think 😅.
I’ve been cast the Beast in our school musical, beauty and the beast. I find it really difficult to hit the notes at the end of my solo (if I can’t love her) from, no spirit could win me.

Hi Ramsey I'm Kevin a beginner I'm confused on where to start like should I start on my vocals my mixed voice can you help me? (Please Reply to my comment) 😭
The problem is i have a very base sound, i mean ik u may say that it's good to have a base sound, girls find it attractive blah blah blah but for mw it's an opposite i mean people whom i knwo well even said that i sound OLD! 🤦🏻♂️ They say my appearance doesn't match with my voice, and sometimes i try to sing country songs and since I'm a base voice the intro of the country song goes Quite well for a noob/beginner but as soon as the pitch changes although low tone is still there but the weight! of the base voice disappears and it happens naturally that I can't control it, and I can't do natural country type base voice the way i started the Intro with my natural heavy base voice i mean u get it right? And it gets even crazier when i hit high note like not just my base tone but my voice just stops completely then i have to compromise it and take a low tone to continue singing which is a total different route 🤣 plz help me if u understood my situation/condition whatever you call it😢(yeah im a total beginner 😂)
Yeah A4 is where it’s rough for me cuz it doesn’t want to pick a register. I can mix b4-f5 and above easy but A4-A#4 is so hard for me to mix

My falsetto is up to D6
Don't males have a bridging event around Bb3 as well?
@ramseyvoicestudio
Ай бұрын
Yes, there's also a bridging that happens in the chest voice that most people don't talk about. But it's usually less of an issue

@@user-kb9hw5kn5v Is it a strained C#5? Are you comfortable in that B4-C5 range? Can you hit strings of notes? Can you hang up there for the duration of a performance without fatigue? There's a lot of variables. For instance, my highest 'chest' note is an Eb5. I have those tenor money notes. However, in a choir context, I'd sing Tenor 2 because that's most comfortable for my vocal weight.

While I agree with @deathrattle216 here I think if you can resonate such a note you would be considered a tenor.
@deathrattle216

@@VacantKey Any voice type has a resonant C5 with a microphone. Can you do it unamplified so that it carries across an opera house? That's what vocal fachs were meant for. They don't belong in mic'd singing. Frankly, the obsession with tenors is kind of annoying considering that most pop tenors are actually high baritones with strong mixes and good falsettos.

@@fnafking_93-fx5ip C5 is like the holy grail for the male voice and you’re not far off. A lot of men would be happy to have A#4 as their highest note in a chesty (maybe even mixed) voice. Have you been practicing scales a lot, had training or something? Or do you just have a really high pitched voice?
