Being over age 50, I forgot my math. I tried helping my elementary niece and she said I was wrong. Soooo, I'm re-learning math... I completely forgot how to do this. But as you continued, memories came back. Thanks.

Deym, MATH IS FUN! How i wish my teacher in junior high taught us like this, then I wouldn't despise math so much back then.

It's been about ten years since my last math class, and there are some basics like this that aren't often used that I've completely forgotten. I never appreciated the first chapter always being a review before now. It's giving me some time to figure this all out. Also, thank you so much for these videos!

My teacher is good, but my school isn't. Somehow they put me in the advanced math class after I transferred there, no test or anything, and I've been very lost. My new teacher is the best I've ever had, but still can only do so much. This was super helpful, thank you

Trick: use LCM (lowest comment factor) Eg: 27 = 3x3x3 with LCM, it'll be easier.

LCM is lowest common multiple. LCF is lowest common factor. just cause were doing math does not mean that english doesnt matter.

the C in LCM means "common." meaning, you will need to have another number to have a "common multiple" with. what you did was simply factoring it.

Then, for the mental gymnasts with good short term memory, the 23√2 = 25√2 - 2√2 = (100√2)/4 - 2√2 = 141.4/4 - 2.828 = 35.35 - 2.828 = 32.522

Best video ever!!!!!! What helped was the list of perfect squares to the side. I am an ACT tutor who tries to help low level students increase their scores. Kudos

After algebra 1 I forgot everything through geometry, and now in algebra 2 I have to keep coming back to your vids
