All your emotions do not point you to truth. But being pure and honest with God, He will show you truth. No matter how you feel there is always something more than that.

Hollyn explained this spot on - this is just one of the reasons God gives us prayer - to pour out all the hurtful words we take in daily either outwardly from others or from our own inner critic - praying by 'conversation' as, we are brought up with 'sticks and stones' as if words aren't as important - but every word is important if you read scripture, the Lord talks about the power of words a lot. Praying as if telling a friend everything had happened really helps as the words are then out of our internal system and God transmutes the harmful words and turns the situation around.

Knowing someone else talks out loud to God to release emotions, is amazing. Honestly, I didn't think anyone else did and I thought I was crazy just a little. Blessed to know that I'm not. I'm learning so much more here recently about the things that I do that I have in common with other believers.

I love this girl! It's not easy to find someone that when you listen you feel truth, not only about saying the Word of God that obviously is truth, but someone that truly lives the truth she's speaking! This is powerful.
