Pretty good tip, much better than using Autoduck so you can control the speed of the sidechain. Although, this music is pretty good even without the sidechain tho. Without sidechain feels like the chorus part then with sidechain feels like the drop part of the song

That really only works with a 4/4 kick though. It’d be nice if you could trigger the auto Duck with midi, hopefully FL implements it in the app in the future.

I make an effect track, add compressor to that effect, and automate the compressors level. Then I route all of the tracks I need to sidechain to the effect track. Sidechaining only volume like this will cause the mix to be choppy. Use compressor

With my opinion, with the sidechain the sound is worse. Sidechain is deal of the style of the music.

but if the autoduck is in FLM, it is not necessary to create an automation or an effect channel to modify the volume.

Hereʻs a much easier way. Step 1: get FX CHANNEL Step 2: click it Step 3: click The line and move it up to 75 and have The line 1-2 away. You donʻt even need to do The automation like that.
