I applied after 2 weeks I arrived Malta Yes the proof of funds has to be in the same account So as soon as you arrive Malta gather all the necessary documents and start your appplication

It’s safe for the money to be there in case they check. Once you start your residence application, the money should be there in case they check for it.

My account haven’t been receiving huge amount until this time of POF, hope it won’t look like I put in money there cos of this purpose also, it’s a 6month statement now, once they check previous month with little or no transactions hope it won’t affect the process. 2. Yes you need your sponsor’s bank card since you have a sponsor. They want to be sure you have access to the money. Just blur out the card number but let the bank name and card name show.

Before you show the POF, you must have paid part or full tuition fee. If what you’ve paid is part of your tuition fee then you need to add it to the money you’ll show for POF. Please ask your admission officer, they may have a different opinion on this.

No I didn’t need a transit visa for Rome cos Italy is part of the Schengen countries and my Malta student visa is a Schengen visa. I simply said Rome is close to Malta, I didn’t know what else to say.

It depends on the area you get For Gozo you can get a decent room in an apartment for €250 and above. In Malta it’s more expensive

Yes I believe so You will need an affidavit indicating that your sponsor is ready to cover your expenses in Malta and of course show other documents to support this. Please ask your school for a detailed information but I believe it’s possible.
